For me it's just easier to consider all of that off limits for the moment. I had an (essential) delivery today and the number of steps I had to take to get the contents of a cardboard box into my house gave me a headache so thinking of all the angles for a trip to the hills would do the same.

I've just ordered some disposable gloves from Toolstation to collect for similar purposes, thankfully I've got a pair left for the transaction. Cardboard is supposed to be fairly safe though as it absorbs the virus, unlike hard surfaces that can transfer it.

I was thinking about this today. There was also talk of a test that can tell if you've had it, but that kind of news seems to have been drowned in the sea of pictures of selfish c***s and increasingly stern measures. Has there been any more about that that I've missed? 

Most people who get this will develop some sort of immunity.

I won't lie, I've been very tempted by the thought of grabbing one last double cheeseburger.  Probably sold out by now though.

That said, from my offshore experiences, I've learned that I no longer miss things when I can't just go out and buy them on demand (after a couple of days anyway).  A beer in my fridge has a life expectancy of 48 hours max, but I don't miss it at all where even cola or chocolate is limited to a bond that's only open for 20-30 mins per shift.  Straight to the airport pub once back onshore though, simply because it has been the forbidden fruit, and I can.

Our Tesco was horrific yesterday, there was literally NOTHING in our shelves by 4pm, save a couple of Melons some bags of Kale and a few bottles of slimline tonic with elderflower.

I’m on annual leave this week. My plan for my first day off was to go to Glenshee for a hike and do some photography, however the longer time went on the less and less comfortable I felt about doing so - even though I’d be able to have my day out without coming into contact with anyone. Advice was updated this morning from the Scottish Mountaineering Association (I think it was them, something to that effect) who said do not go to the mountains. So that’s that.

Instead I’ve been out in my car all day, driving around local countryside. I’m about to get out for a walk. I’ve got my food, water and everything else I need and won’t need to go anywhere near anyone. In the very unlikely circumstances that I do cross paths with someone I will be going nowhere near them.

Maybe I’ve made an “unnecessary journey” today by driving around. But if I didn’t get in my car today and instead walked to the nearest park or green space then I’d almost certainly have come into close contact with someone.

I think the “stay at home” brigade need to wind their necks in and stop attacking sensible folk for wanting to go out for fresh air. If you want to get angry at people, get angry at the arseholes who went to the pub last night or the ones who are down the local park mingling together and behaving as if everything’s fine.

The official government advice does NOT say to stay indoors. These people who are shouting at others for daring to step foot outside are making their own rules up.

I've got a one-year-old to look after so it's been tricky to watch as much stuff as I'd like, but I've mapped out my short-term TV bingeing. Currently got Better Call Saul (series 4), Arrested Development (series 5), Stranger Things (series 1) and Hunters (series 1) on the go. Downloaded four films too: Joker, 1917, Jojo Rabbit and The Peanut Butter Falcon.

Get the recommendations in.

Have to say btw the dogs of Scotland will be fucking loving this. Mine has never been walked so much. Gives you an excuse to get out to a secluded spot and get some fresh air

Thank Christ for that as I ate my delivered 12" Cheese & Pineapple Pizza last night directly from the box without taking any precautions. Got to say, it was absolutely fantastic.

This is what im witnessing/experiencing. 

Mum and Dad both in mid 60's and can't help themselves going out every single day. When i ask them wtf you doing they say "Oh i just needed to nip out or a few things" despite being in the shops yesterday. The older generation seem to have no interest in isolating.

In minute quantities if at all that would be very unlikely to do any harm. Not to say you shouldn't wash your hands all the time just in case.

60 quid a year for all UK/US channels and VOD content. Or over 150 quid for a BBC licence....... real mind teaser.
