I highly doubt that they do tbh.

On the off-chance though, I'd like to remind Gail Ross that I haven't forgotten about the time I let her out at the junction at the big Tesco in Wick and she didn't even acknowledge me.

There will 1000000% be at least one MSP who reads P&B on at least a semi-regular basis. Plenty of them are proper football fans, and enough of them are young enough to be considered P&B's main demographic.

I'm a member (£1 a month, kerching) and shielding and got a letter and form yesterday to vote by post.

Unsure if that's just because I'm shielding, or they're following the Democrats' example from the US and trying to up the postal vote. Can't remember ever having that stuff through for previous elections.

Unfortunately I filed it straight in the bin, so I can't check it to see what they're saying about electoral safety, but presumably some others on here will have got it too.

You don't need the letter to apply for a postal vote.  The forms are online, then you can either post them off or scan them and email them in.

It's a sensible thing for as many people as possible to do postal voting at the moment.

A few SPFL footballers will too.

If Alex Cole Hamilton is reading this, I would just like to let him know he is a fucking c**t.

As is that Forres/Elgin wanker Dougie Ross.

A true buffet of possibilities will present themselves.

Meanwhile, back in the real world...

What back in the real world of being under house arrest for another month after Easter, when everyone else is meeting up outside and the stay at home rule has been lifted? 😉

It's beginning to look like there's a realistic chance the restrictions will be eased a bit more quickly anyway. Even with the the talk of tighter rules for levels, most of the country is already in level 3 and you'd expect the number dropping into level 2 would increase quite a bit in the next month. Maybe some areas of the central belt will struggle to get there, but apart from Glasgow, North Lanarkshire staying stubbornly high, at least along with Falkirk & West Lothian they are coming down, and it's only Stirling that's a concern as their numbers are heading up instead of down (Dundee's starting to climb too but from a low level).

I dunno tbh, I kinda think that being an MSP is a busy job and this forum is exclusively full of dossers who don't have enough work to do.

Of the ones who are into football and have the inclination, they could also go on club-specific forums. But maybe.

Good to see some changes to level four next week, hopefully funeral attendances can be increased as a priority.

Or even happy places, like beer gardens.

By that time much more of retail etc will be open. Don’t know if it’s just where I am but I’ve never been in a polling station that’s had more than about three or four people in it at once. Even in 2019, when I was living down south in the centre of Cheltenham, it wasn’t particularly crowded voting there at peak time. The idea that polling stations could be superspreader hotspots in ten weeks time is nonsense IMO.
Gyms, lower league football, and large parts of the leisure industry have never been "super spreaders" either, that hasn't stopped them being forced to close for long spells.

One of the most shameful things has been the mandatory 20 limit no matter how big the venue is. Lots of crematoria could comfortably hold more than that even with social distancing measures in place.

I'm quite sure his loved ones remind him of that on a daily basis.

I said after the announcement last week that Sturgeon seemed to still have the same mindset as last June when she kept us pointlessly locked up.

Fair play for taking the more realistic path. She obviously got extremely negative feedback about last week's pish.

Haircuts in a fortnight hopefully.
