Trying desperately to maintain nanny state control over the public in the same manner as they control their party. Do they seriously think people will accept this and where is their justifications.

The rug will ultimately be pulled from under them by the UK government on this. As the tide of public opinion sweeps their bullshit out to sea. Whilst its my opinion that we shouldn't have anything to do with the UK govt, on this issue, I am thankful. Basically boils down to a "enemy of my enemy" scenario. Normally I'd be unwilling to concede such a point but this is one of the biggest issues we will face in our lifetimes, so it needs to dealt with asap. That doesn't include masks and SD which by its definition will cost jobs, health and happiness in some "just in case" inspired scenario.

Hospitality industry which is already beyond on its knees might as well just have a fucking lie down if social distancing is required after the nation is vaccinated. These business’ just cannot function effectively with the current measures in place. Really hope the UK Govt force SG’s hand into removing these restrictions.

He can get himself squarely to f**k tbh. I will not follow a single rule that's within my control once the general population are vaccinated.
This is just the beginning of getting the election postponed when James Hamilton produces his findings and Sturgeon has to go, gives the SNP a chance to get it off the front pages before the new date.

I have no idea why an experienced minister has been drawn into the debate. He like the rest of us has no idea what the next few months will look like and it would be utterly bizarre to have any rules in place if no one is catching Covid that requires them to go to hospital.

A route map out of this mess with trigger points of hospitalisations and deaths is the only way out the this and possibly case numbers in certain areas, like the islands that have health care systems that could be swamped easily. But the threshold has to be insanely high. We don't need a response to a random question being the way to shape the conversation about our exit strategy.

Bang on the cash money.

There also surely has to be massive legal challenges from industry if restrictions remain with death rates and hospitalisations returned to average levels.

I think we all should be deeply worried by these comments. Saying the vaccination programme will only be complete when it's done globally is complete and utter bullshit.

Maintaining enforced restrictions and emergency powers beyond their absolute necessity should be not be tolerated in a democratic society.

The willingness to continue with restrictions beyond the remit for which they were introduced is a deeply troubling issue.

I've just been sworn at and called a disgrace to my profession for having the temerity not to accept a request from a punter to look at a mole they've had on their back for years.

My salient advice of sir you're here for a jag, not a consultation, you should phone your practice on Monday if concerned was not the correct answer.

That was met with its my right to be looked at you fucking c**t, im reporting you.    No problem sir you do that.

You have to love the public.

I've no experience of vaccinating people but can I assume that some jags are sorer than others?

Again, though. The SG are making it obvious what they are going to do.

I don't want to hear anyone who votes for the SNP in May moaning about it when it plays out like that.

A vote for the SNP in May is a vote for a micro-controlling, ultra cautious, nanny state. If that's what you want, crack on and put an X in the SNP box. If it isn't, maybe don't.

How many days will you be crying for when the SNP is returned with a majority in May?

The goal for eg Leitch is to continue to be standing on a stage on TV every day reading numbers and pontificating about how we should live our lives, so I'm not surprised at the rhetoric coming out about restrictions forever in case of "variants".

Why would our journalists decide to start doing their job properly now?

I don’t think I’ve seen anyone on this website with a higher opinion of themself or as big an air of superiority as you have.

If as many as people as possible take the initiative by directing this question to their SNP MSP and letting them know that irrational policies like this could affect how they vote in May they will probably change their posture. The problem is they only tend to ever hear from a tiny minority of cranks who are not very bright (similar to who calls into football phone-ins) and will tend to believe all the tabloid fear porn.
