Sherrif John Bunnell
What did he do to get on old Lizzie's hitlist? He fought against the Germans in the war.

DeeTillEhDeh
Yeah but what I mean is, that wasn’t his fault. He shouldn’t be getting a hard time for doing something nice, because other people are arseholes and take everything too far. Like his daughter?
Elixir
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-55907162 Quote So what's crystal clear is she wants to avoid a wave of foreign holidays this summer causing another wave of Covid and lockdown in the autumn. I know it's just the ramblings of some no-mark journalist, but what in the shitting f**k even is that 'logic'? The entire nation is going to be vaxxed up to our tits by the autumn FFS. Variants or not the hospitalisation figures from data post-vaccination are abundantly clear.
tamthebam
Remember when Boris was being praised for getting his order in first for vaccine over the EU? Serbia bought up stocks of the seemingly better Sputnik V weeks ago. Hats off to Vucic, you mad Chetnik b*****d.

The current wave of Covid was also not even remotely caused by 'foreign holidays' but rather the infection factories that the SG already plans to open up again.

Gaz
Given that the venn diagram representing Britnat Simpletons and folk who don't believe that Covid is a real are pretty much two perfectly concentric circles, this is going to cause some dillemas. Feel sorry for the old boy but certainly seems like his daughter exploited him a fair bit.

Gaz
2 hours ago, Elric said: That was what I was discussing with the wife earlier today - without extra time added will schools be able to catch up. Have noticed the difference in my oldest grandchild, she was doing well in class but now seems lost. Perhaps they should consider this year a complete right off and repeat the year for all. Would prove a heavy impact for P1 with kids coming through from nursery though There are two main problems with the 'write the year off' proposal: 1) It punishes those who have actually put the work in over the remote learning period and are learning at the same (or better) as they would when they were in school. You're going to make them repeat a year when they've already put in the work. They're going to be bored as hell. When teenagers get bored, that's when behaviour drops. 2) Logistically there isn't the room for them. If all our sixth years had to stay on and do a 7th year that's an extra 150-odd pupils that need taught. To be taught they need teachers, rooms and resources. Contrary to what most people believe most schools don't have an abundance of spare rooms and certainly don't have an abundance of spare teachers. Rugster
Let’s be honest thousands are dying every day from this disease and just because his daughter whored him out for everything we’re meant to sympathise? He was 100. He’d had more than a good innings.
