Thought the figures were a day behind for the vacs ?

Aye sorry, I mean 17k since the last update yesterday afternoon.

Then aye about 17k but the main thing is the first doses of the "hard" to do areas is over 80% complete (care homes the infirm etc) and now the big centres can open and get jagging So as long as Tynie is sober enough to work weekends we will be cutting some shapes in deja by the end of the year

Is anywhere else doing vaccines on the same scale as Louisa Jordan?

NHS Louisa Jordan, Glasgow
Edinburgh International Conference Centre
Pyramids Business Park (Bathgate)
Queen Margaret University (Musselburgh)
P&J Live at TECA (Aberdeen)
Ravenscraig Sports Facility in Motherwell

These are all mentioned in the Scottish Government’s vaccine plan as being capable of 20,000+ a week.

On OTB Jason Leitch also seemed to suggest that once they get out of the top 2 or 3 groups it'll be some sort of online booking system (I guess like the tests) to allow people to book their appts presumably at the larger centres rather than clogging up GP surgeries.

I managed to fire through a good few today without stabbing myself which was a bonus.
Volunteered for next Saturday too seeing as no football.
I'm looking forward to my Indian and a few beers now mind you.
What are you doing finishing at this time ffs?

Old person probably came in with 15 mins to go and he thought, “to Philpy with that, I’m off”.

A year ago today, Public Health England recommended that travellers to Wuhan wash their hands regularly and... avoid touching dead birds.

Were people not avoiding this before the pandemic?

Hopefully this is one of the first restrictions they lift. It's inhuman to prevent people from travelling to Chinese cities to touch dead birds.
