The WHO have appealed for the UK to stop vaccinating after the priority groups and give their doses to poorer countries.

Thoughts?

A guilty and selfish no I think, so long as we continue to fund maximum production and distribution after we're sorted.

Naw!

In planes it says put your mask on before helping others. I'd be uncomfortable breaking such well made rules.

If we've got any left they can have it...maybe in exchange for something we want. Oil, land, minerals etc.

If we can continue to vaccinate ourselves, we will soon be able to hold a charity concert, which will be of much more use to them.

The governments primary responsibility is to the citizens of the UK.  Imagine the political sniping after every further death if they hadn’t done everything possible to prevent it?

failing to take every chance to vaccinate citizens isn’t doing everything possible.

On the other hand the potential for the EU to have a massive heads gone if we shipped loads of AZ to Africa would be quite amusing (although it would probably land AZ in court)

ETA have the made this appeal other countries like Israel or is it just us?

Is it not the case that with the exception of South Africa there is limited infection in sub saharan aftica? I am absolutely all for helping the pharma companies ramp up production and even for paying for doses for developing countries. Ship alllll the vaccines we wont use over there too, even send our doctors to help when we get things under control here too.

I think this view will be held by 99%of the public - we should give up our vaccines to the developing world.....once I've had mine.
I dont think so, for the vast majority of people, the act of getting the vaccine is simply to be part of the overall % vaccinated in the hope this is what gives us a life back.

I dont want it because I fear covid, I want it to be part of the "herd"

Our government and our government only want to keep us under restrictions indefinitely! Despite the fact it would be long term electoral suicide and cause huge social and economic damage, that's exactly what they want to do. I have no evidence they will make this inexplicable choice, but I'm certain they will!

^^^^ You, an idiot.
