Isn't Jockoland the name of Banksy's latest satirical anti-amusement park installation, located just outside Cumbernauld?

I thought it was a theme part thats being planned for the banks of Loch Lomond (Flamingoland got knocked back).

I think the zero blowback is more to do with the piss-poor opposition tbh.

The Tories don’t have any meaningful opposition down south either and yet they can’t go a week without blowing their feet off with a blunderbuss. The SNP have made plenty of similar mistakes yet are unassailable partially because of that lack of opposition but also because they have unbelievable party discipline and are far and away the best party at doing PR in the UK.

Just watching SSN ATM TBH. As far as "mood music" goes, the EPL are lobbying hard for crowds, the 6 Nations are lobbying for crowds, another 3 England players (Abraham, Chillwell, Sancho) have joined the previous 2 (Greenwood and Foden) in doing whatever the f**k they want with no action from the Police. They join the likes of Ferrier as recent high profile cases of "f**k yer restrictions" for us all to witness.

All of this on top of the changing tone from the papers mentioned earlier this morning. Reports of pish poor compliance with contact tracing and isolation, impending seethe at new restrictions for Scotland, the end of Furlough coming very soon...

I wouldnt want to be in the government atm, but if I was, I would be looking very hard at shielding older folks and loosening things off for everyone else before the imminent embarrassment of everyone else doing what they want anyway and you being totally unable to enforce anything.

An alternative view suggesting more or less entirely that.

100%, we're all following the same policies as would the opposition parties if they were in power.

Not the case. Sweden has had a significantly different approach. Public health policy is in the hands of public health professionals there, so the politicians are not able to introduce kneejerk populist measures that don't really help in longer term big picture terms.
