MP_MFC
51 deaths isnae ideal, considering the equivalent day a year ago was only 58. Granted cases are infinitely higher but those are poor numbers w/ vaccine. Of course we don’t know the full details but just comparing todays date 12 months ago. Eta- I was wrong, only 41 but still would like that to be lower

Until they split out died of Covid and died with Covid properly, then the death number they give us is fairly useless. Naturally when loads of people have it, regardless of how mild, it will mean higher number of (incidental) deaths.

Popular Post Todd_is_God
"Beginning to slow" It began to slow 14 days ago, and has been firmly in retreat for the last 9. The utter contempt these goons show the public with outright bollocks like this is incredible.

I'm genuinely surprised people still pay attention to / react to reported figures.
Left Back
that mail article that someone linked is reporting 40000 staff absent due to Covid from NHS trusts across England so I find it hard to believe there are 50000 absent in Scotland

DeeTillEhDeh
Aye if you have the flu you know about it. Basically if you can get up and go about your day as you usually would, you don't have it.I've had the flu twice - both times I could barely make it up one flight of stairs in the house. As you say - you know when you've got the flu.
