Oh that WILL be a comfort to the families involved.

Let joy be unconfined.

Didn't take you long to revert to type did it?

Don't be daft. If you consider what's going on, every patient in a ward with covid stops the availability of beds for the other patients.  That's why keeping covid infections down is to everyone's benefit, particularly the families that you seem so concerned about.

Fact or speculation?

Either way the SG are "teasing" b*****ds. Threats of extensions and the will we/wont we constantly is wearing very thin

Perhaps it was the press who were teasing....saying restrictions "could" be introduced quite obviously does not mean that they will just that they were under consideration.

Clownshoes with his finger firmly on the pulse as usual...

This image has absolutely enraged me. This year I have taught in the room where we do our graduations - a little smaller than the one on the image. The room can take over 600, and thanks to Leitch and the Scottish Government I have been teaching a maximum of 50 in person each week. The other 400 or so students in my class have to join remotely.

Every week dealing with emails from students asking to come to class, asking to be there in person and me having to say no. Some of my students could only come every 4 or 5 weeks. That's a lot of screen time, and as we learned last year, that causes serious issues for students (burnout).

LFTs now also permitted for entry to venues that require certification, but no extension of the scheme for now.

Cynically I think this is very calculated so that it seems like a win today then a slightly less severe kick in the balls down the line when the scheme is extended regardless.

The First Minister has warned that Scotland is not out of the woods yet.

"If our situation does deteriorate, it may well be that extending covid certification is a more proportionate alternative to the re-introduction of more onerous restrictions on, for example, hospitality."

"Anti-vaxxers, screw the nut and get jagged, ya p***ks! Everyone! Get yer masks on, ya fuds! Do as yer telt. Do LFTs regularly! "
(I'm paraphrasing, you understand.)
Cue seethe..
This poster makes more sense now that it has identified itself as Janey Godley

Sometimes the direct approach is the best.   Some folk appear unable to understand the words Sturgeon has been using until now.

(I'm an atheist - if the word "God" had ever been part of my name, it would have been changed long, long ago.)

You seem to ignore this every single time I post it, but there is absolutely no legal requirement for universities to require social distancing in classrooms. Any such rules are being implemented by the individual universities themselves, usually in consultation with the unions.
