Good to see that there are parts of England already looking to have peaked.

Not really sure of the situation in the SW but that region is driving the increase.

Numbers at the end are still being reported. Until the "peak" is in the white space it is not a real peak.

Yes i know that. But East Mids and Yorkshire are already on the way down, with the North West looking very flat.

After 2 negatives, a positive LFT earlier, waiting for a PCR result now. Felt bad on Monday, utterly shite yesterday and wasn't sure I'd wake up this morning, but I did and feel much better.

I have heard there can be improvement before a catastrophic decline, is this true?

Have you been reading this thread ? Welcome to the world of moonhowling fuckwits.
Very few of them ever go to football games I suspect. They're people who join a football forum to post all day like batshit mental zealots.
It's going to be hilarious watching their heads explode when the populist right wing government in Westminster that they so love, have to double back (again) and introduce the same limited form of restrictions that we have in Scotland.

It's been said plenty of times on here but it can't be said enough - hoping for restrictions so that you can laugh at some randoms on a football forum is weirdo behaviour of the highest order.

If you can find any single post I've ever made where I 'hope for restrictions', I'll gladly remove you from my list of moon howling fuckwits.

What is 'weirdo behaviour of the highest order', is making a 100 posts on this thread every single day, copying confirmation bias tweets, and constantly, constantly, constantly telling people what your opinion is.....despite having no qualifications at all other than proclaiming yourself a self-appointed internet expert.

Thinking that the whole world agrees with you because another dozen moonhowling loners on a football forum give you a reach around now again, also comes into the category 'weirdo behaviour'.

Have a nice evening.

You're not spending enough time with people you share a fraternal bond with.

You don’t need any sort of specialist health or pandemic related expertise to discuss and interpret stats*, understand trends, or to use a bit of common sense when interpreting the direction of travel.

True dat.

But there's not a lot of 'discussing' going on, is there ?

I mean, 18 months ago on this thread, there used to be. But slowly it became the domain of a number of moonhowlers/obsessives/zealots (delete as appropriate), and any opposition to the party line will no longer be tolerated. Anyone who dares to utter the phrase, 'you know I can see why we have to do this...', is attacked from all sides.

And thus the place is a furious hive of around a dozen posters who pretty much spend all day, every day, agreeing with each other.

On top of that, the last few months have seen a growing political slant to the ranting, as those who have had an agenda from day one have become more and more emboldened. It's tedious beyond belief. And pretty laughable.

I kind of see myself as part of a group....let's call us for sake of argument, 'the silent majority'.....who don't want any kind of restrictions and want life back to the absolute normal (whatever that was), but will wearily accept certain things like masks, passports etc., because when you give me on one hand a group of medical 'experts' and one the other hand a group of internet fantasists.... I tend to grudgingly choose the 'experts'.

That's all.

I wasn't aware of this guy until his antics handing out manilla envelopes, just seen this video and can only presume he was dropped on his head regularly. I particularly like him talking about the chances of catching Covid and then proclaiming that it doesn't exist.

Nah, you'll be fine. What size of shoes do you wear anyway? How's the wife bearing up?

No result yet, but symptoms progress. Woke up a few times and felt like my nasal passages and throat were burning. Cough a bit more chesty than dry. Aches and pains don't  seem as bad, but I'm  not up yet.

On a genuine point, this mirrors my mate who tested positive a fortnight ago. He felt progressively worse for a week and I've not heard from him since Monday.

Hope this just breezes by you and doesn't hit you all that hard.
