Guess Godley is taking her big ass to sleep after all.

The bloody advert has been on STV twice in the last hour despite the axing announcement !

They likely have the rest of the days adverts lined up and can’t be arsed changing them.

The scheme will require a person seeking entry to certain venues and settings to show that they have been fully vaccinated. Fully vaccinated means vaccinated with a MHRA recognised vaccine in line with the MHRA recommended number of doses for the vaccine used and two weeks has passed for the vaccine to take effect

Taken from here - https://www.gov.scot/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-mandatory-vaccine-certification/
As someone aged 18+ who can’t get their second dose until the 28th of September I’m absolutely fizzing about this. I’m already unhappy at the law being passed for ethical reasons but this totally fucks me over.
Already bought tickets for the Scotland game only 11 days after my second vaccine. Does this mean I won’t be allowed to go? Through no fault of my own.
I cannot stress this enough, f**k this government.
Absolutely delighted I cancelled my Green Party membership, clearly shown they don’t have any backbone and don’t stand by the views that they supposedly have.

Kind of in the same boat as you, due my second dose as of now but currently have the rona . As far as I can tell I’m not allowed my second dose until 28 days after my positive test. Which is 4 days before Israel game . f**k this

Given BoJo's comments last night it's clear that these passports are little more than a ploy to encourage people to get vaccinated rather than about stopping transmission. I get the impression they are no longer that worried about vaccinated people catching it.
Of course they can't say that, which leads to them tying themselves in knots about why they are introducing them.
Allowing negative LFTs (which as previously discussed can be easily achieved by not actually taking the test) would not have this effect, hence why they aren't included as acceptable at launch. It's also why they are targetted at nightclubs, events and football stadiums.
It's the same with the rumoured changes for international travel - make it really difficult for the unvaccinated to travel.

I would suggest finding a journalist to run with this type of story, I'm sure you're not the only person in this boat.

He was born to be Sturgeon's toady.
Not in the slightest bit surprised that he has folded like a cheap deckchair after being given a sniff of power and a pay rise. As someone mentioned before, Nicola will have him cutting the ribbons on a new oil rig or refinery before this parliament is done.

I know quite a lot of folks on here were fans of PH, its quite sad to see him give up his political principles for a diddy cabinet job. Actually thought despite not approving of all his parties ways and means that he was a man of principle, suppose it just shows that a wee glimpse of power can change people.

Patrick Harvie knows that pandering to the sizeable Lovejoy demographic is worth more in today's political climate than any sort of principled stance, especially when it comes to holding onto the only modicum of power he's ever held in his specky wee life.

Have to say it's cracking patter I'm in a position where I feel in all likely hood I don't have a party to vote for. The Socialist Party didn't stand any candidates at either the last Holyrood or Westminster elections & I wouldn't touch any of the other fringe/smaller pro-indy parties (there's more than you'd think) for a variety of reasons.

Any idea of a starting point for taking this forward?

Find a hack from a paper that likes to write negative stories about the snp on Twitter with open DMs and slide on in would be my guess.

Chris Musson at the sun would be my starting point.
