Linlithgow likewise, plus the specially widened pavements to make social distancing easier makes driving through the town a pleasure and a joy.

Masks must be worn at all times in the internal areas of Easter Road as per Government guidelines and personal sanitisers will be allowed to be brought in. We also urge supporters to use the sanitization stations provided around the stadium.

We ask supporters not to congregate in the concourses, to avoid crowded spaces, and to keep to the left on the stairs, passageways and the vomitories.

Social distancing is gone so why is the club still doing these social distancing rules apart from the masks of course.

The car drivers don't appear to be particularly challenged

Not the best image as in that one it's just a bus stop that's been filled in. Further down the road they took a bite out of the main carriageway.

Box ticking.

Then, when you get to Easter Road, it’ll be ignored, won’t be enforced, and like any football match, they’ll really only be interested in getting a crowd in, and ninety minutes later, out again.

Steal it, it will be worth a fortune to some internet nutters in about 50 years time.

Current British Airways disembarkation process. Instead of every chunt undoing their seatbelt and starting to leave their seat before the plane has even stopped, much less been attached to the airbridge, now everyone stays seated and they do it in rows of ten at a time. It works, it’s quicker, we aren’t all standing up squashed together in the aisle trying to extracate hand luggage from the overhead bins, despite not being able to go anywhere anyway.

That's a properly good idea, hopefully continues well into the future.

To the best of knowledge Up Helly Aa is an outdoor event and ehm we've had vaccines for over a year by that point. Bed shitting of the highest degree *
* I didnt read the article so I may be wrong and it's not cancelled due to covid at all

The procession and boat burning are outdoors. The subsequent 12 hour party with 1000+ people drinking, dancing and moving between 10+ public halls is very much an indoor event.

This. Nothing more than "things we need to put in place" to get the green light for more than 5,000 people, but which, should people choose to ignore, are completely unenforceable in reality.

Same as the TRNSMT LFT requirement.

Indeed. Imagine us, as individuals, making decisions based on personal risk assessment to the situation we find ourselves in. Crazy concept.

TBF to Calder he says what should happen because of the numbers and admits he hasn't a clue how the government come to their decisions.

How can he be worse than getting everything wrong??

Calder has been making incorrect proclamations about which countries will go green/red etc and caused a bit of panic with a red list prediction which was presented as almost certain. Hes been very cautious since as there were a lot of people angry having changed holidays etc as he portrays himself as a guru doing q&a’s etc. So Calder has changed his outlook to be slightly more ‘im only a journalist dont blame me’.

Paul Charles has continued to get everything wrong, to a spectacular degree and doubled down on the ‘ive got a source who says’ type stuff.

Has anybody been feeling shite after the 2nd astra zeneca vaccine?? Been getting problems with my neck since getting it on Tuesday.  Sore, and and very stiff (behave), and also right arm feeling numb at times. Could be a trapped nerve, but just seems a bit of a coincidence...

Its just the 5g bot navigating its way up your arm into your brain. 2 paracetomol and a good nights sleep will see you alright. Then Bill will see all your thoughts in the morning
