Who the hell is queueing for hand sanitiser at the entry to a football ground?

That is hilarious.

Tbf I think the stewards were advising them to do it but when my mate snapped me there must have been about 25 folk in the queue in front of him. Crazy to think 16 months ago the same folk were probably clatty b*****ds that never washed their hands after the toilet, but are now queuing for sanitiser 😬🤣

Home Nations Daily update  :  UK Average 440.2 to 472.3 up 7.29%, England 473.5 to 510.9 up 7.90%, Wales  205.2 to 210.9 up 2.77%, Northern Ireland  294.1 to 337.7 up 14.82%

Really kicking off in Northern Ireland where cases have risen 45% in 3 days.

Midlothian number 1 in Scotland is number council 106 in the UK.

The lowest rate of infection currently in any English council is in Dorset with a rate of 243.6 cases per 100K.  That is only fractionally below the current Scottish average.

Amazing the different trajectories between Scotland and the rest of the UK.

Expecting to see vaccine passports quietly shelved now Labour are opposing them, don't think Johnson can rely on the Tory backbenches to back him in big enough numbers to definitely get it through.

Don't think it was ever more than a soundbite that he thought would please more people that it would piss off. Wouldn't start till October when hopefully it wouldn't matter, and if it did it would be quietly dropped. Ireland are already introducing it for getting inside pubs and restaurants though.

Rare… That’ll be SG using them then to prove they care more. Will likely sail through with backing of the Greens.

Signs on the open terrace at Montrose saying that face masks must be worn “for everyone’s safety”.

It’s more open and less crowded than literally any shopping street anywhere in the country.

It really isn't, when you consider that the infection factories wrapped up several weeks earlier in Scotland.
