My 65 year old sister lives there and doesn't get her first jag till next month. I think there have been issues with vaccine supply in Australia and New Zealand.

Well yes, they didn't order any till it was too late, and in Australia's case thought they had cadged some off the Italians who later decided they needed them for themselves.

craigkillie
If outdoor social distancing is dropping to 0m on the 17th July, does that mean that the SPFL clubs will no longer have to do regular testing?

NZ (and to a slightly lesser extent, Australia) has been relying on isolation rather than vaccination to try and combat the virus. All well and good in the short term, but it remains to be seen how well they'll cope once they open up to the world....probably in around a year's time.....and they inevitably have a huge number of cases. Hopefully most of the population will have been vaccinated by then, but given that their philosophy from the start was elimination of the virus rather than containment, it will be interesting to see how they react when cases rise.

Yeah, hard to imagine what it would have been like here if our first wave had been with the delta variant in Feb/March 2020.
Thereisalight..
Whilst it's been great to be back to seeing football live again, the two games I've saw at Hampden were an eye opener in stupidity (and I'm not just talking the Scotland performances). Example being no pie kiosks to prevent queuing, yet at half time yesterday the queue for the toilet was long as stewards were only allowing a certain amount of folk in. What's the difference? A queue is a queue. Really hope by the time league season starts we wont have fcking toilet marshall's. It's taking the nanny state to a new level
Gaz
A mate of mine who teaches up North has said about 100 pupils from S2 are isolating, but one pupil who was 'bored' at having to self isolate stuck her uniform on and came in to sit with her mates at lunch. So now all that group are having to self-isolate as well.
