You might have noticed there was an election in Scotland recently; then again it might have escaped your attention.

Anyway, the people of Scotland made their views very clear about “our tinpot leaders”.

It's interesting that the geriatric simp chose to associate the term "tinpot leaders" exclusively with Holyrood tbh.

There's a massive difference between specifically having a vaccine passport, which basically marginalises anyone who hasn't been able to get the vaccine yet, and doing what they've done in Denmark (and to some extent in England) which is to allow entry if you are either double vaccinated or have a (free) negative test result within the last X hours.

As I've said before, this is the middle ground that we should be doing to facilitate entry to full capacity, large scale events, until we reach the point where a predetermined percentage of adults have had both doses.

The number of people who would fall into the category of requiring a negative test (which should be free to ticket holders) becomes smaller every day, and will quickly become moot and phased out. It's not a two-tier society by any means, and is far better than the nonsense we are currently putting up with.

As a temporary measure its perfectly acceptable to operate it the way you describe. Why can anyone have an issue with this?

I'm not sure anyone really does, the issues are with the former example.

Why were you expecting to see anyone wearing a mask outside in a park ?

I walked through a park in Covid ridden Ayr at lunchtime. Busy as it should be on a glorious day like today and unsurprisingly there wasn't a mask in sight there either.
