I caught a bit of this story on morning TV earlier. The guy came across as an utter p***k. I personally think asking people if they’ve been vaccinated before you hire/fire them is way OTT. I honestly wouldn’t mind someone coming into my house who hadn’t been vaccinated. I’m very pro choice and if you’ve been vaccinated then you shouldn’t really care what others are doing or not doing. Some world we’re living in right now. I hate it 😞

There's no solution mate to this other than not watching because you're only going to drive yourself insane.

That’s with me only watching about 5 mins of news a day. Can even listen to the radio without adverts bombarding you with propaganda

NHS Fife are running AZ drop in centres today for anyone over 40 that hasn’t had their second jag or anyone that’s waited more than 8 weeks. No stipulation on time period for over 40s

I think that’s just badly written.

Th over 40 is for 1st jabs (it is missing from the post) and the 2nd jab, regardless of age is 8 weeks.

Both of my 21 year old employees who live in Dundee got their vaccine appts for June 21 & June 23.

I assume registering speeded this up.  🥂

29 year old in Fife getting jagged tomorrow.

I'm now double jagged but over 50 anyway #oldcunt

EDIT Even the office young guy at 19 has an appt 25th June Dundee.

My 2 vaccines will be 10 weeks apart when I get my 2nd one in August.  Think that's about the average for up here going by folk I know who have had both.

I was bang on the twelve weeks, I actually got my second appointment date and time when I got my first jag. Though the second one was just as they were starting to speed up so probably too late to speed mine up.

Pfizered as of 1310 this afternoon. Smooth set up at the Hydro, and plenty of young ains like myself queued up, though it's like they're only using about 1/4 of the stalls/booths. Not sure if that's a staffing issue or if that's intentional so that each of the booths gets deep cleaned every hour or whatever.

If transmission is growing among under 40s should we start using the Astra Zeneca vaccine?  The trade off is between the risk of blood clots and the risk of increased transmissions.  how does this balance?

Also Pfizered at 15:20, waiting in the queue at the doctor's for over an hour because a bunch of idiotic Germans don't know the meaning of the queue system. Especially one old fud, looked so old that he probably didn't wait in the queue to get patiently into Poland.

We are in June and the new football season isn't that far off, no word yet on the subject of supporters and football grounds, if any will be allowed to attend or if so how many.

I'm concerned that we are going to see only a ridiculous small percentage allowed in.

I'd be extremely shocked and extremely happy if we return to pre covid levels of normality in ground attendances, but I can't see it this soon. The SG will always take small cautious steps especially with football supporters.

If England have fully binned restrictions we will have little choice, but to follow suit.

It would be political suicide to keep Scotland restricted if the rest of the island is operating as normal.
