Know a good few people in the 30-35 age group getting jagged in Glasgow today.

They must be getting on with it now.

Surprised the decision to extend to the under 40's an alternative to AZ hasn't delayed this.

Pretty much. Maybe the fucking loser behavioural scientists could just torch their years of 'work' for the very simple message that vaccines work and will take us back to pre-pandemic normality. Crazy I know.

Meanwhile we're still at the same level of restrictions as we were a month ago more or less. See if we hit zero covid can we get Devi down to officially reopen the Riviera?

Another scientist on the ITV News claiming how this shan trial of using lateral flow tests every day as a replacement for isolation could mean a return to 'greater normality'. The only reason this is being commissioned is to help offload those pointless tests the Government have splooged billions on.

People aren't going to be self-isolating anyway when 90% are vaxxed by summer's end and absolutely nobody is in hospital, never mind having the sniffles or a wee cough. The public, and reality, is moving on so much quicker than these losers can accept along with their willingness to let go.

This is an interesting point. When the likes of Leitch and NS re-iterate the current restrictions on indoor mixing (i.e. it's currently still forbidden), to what extent do they think people are still following said guidance?

Anecdotally I have seen an almost 100% collapse in compliance in this area in the last month or so.

Sacked it weeks ago.  We had friends up from London to stay over the bank holiday.

Couldn't be worse timing wise with the confirmation of the next move down literally a couple of days away. We really need this to be an outlier and not the next couple of days showing a similar pattern or we might see a bed shitting for the 17th.

Hospital numbers and deaths. That’s all that matters now.

I get that it might be spun by Devi etc that this is a worrying rise,  but in reality it’s a continuation of weeks of absolutely smashing it.

Who would've thought that additional administration, coupled the egates being switched off and a lack of Border Force Officers owing to their own Covid protocols, would result in long queues?

If they don't sort this out in the next couple of weeks Heathrow is going to be a disaster zone once the state enforced ban on holidays is no more. In the meantime, perhaps the working guidelines need to he reviewed since this isn't January and we're not seeing 50k cases a day here.

I was reading an article from the bold JL about fans being back next season. Obviously there was the tripe about making sure the car parks are "safe" and one way systems. He also said he hope clubs can have 2000 fans seated. Why the need to have them seated? Most lower league grounds only have one or two stands with seating. Thinking of Somerset the North terracing is vast and could easily fit a few hundred  fans 2 metres apart (which in itself will be pointless come late July. Surely standing sections would be easier for folk needing to go for a piss etc
