Comparing being killed by the vaccine to mild side effects from over the counter medicines is idiotic.

Paracetamol can cause blood disorders or heart palpitations in very, very rare cases. Hardly 'mild side effects' but these side effects are so negligible it doesn't register whatsoever.

How many people in the UK do you think have been killed by lightning this year?

Just googled and apparently it's on average three a year, but Devi says no more playing Mario Kart until we've got that down to zero because "we just don't know".

The contraceptive pill is associated with extremely rare but fatal clotting events.  This article seems to suggest it is likely a higher risk than that associated with the AZ vaccine.

Not wearing tin foil head gear must help.

The UK consumes over 3 billion paracetamol a year. It's not comparable.

Tbf it was going to happen anyway.

It's now happening to us rather than our kids. Enjoy it, soon you'll be able to watch as bits of the world become uninhabitable and we go back to a "migrant" crisis.

Might even get a wee war to kick things off big style. The world is going to shit and this is just the warm up act.

Ah ffs sake, I've only been away for a few days,  what's @Cardinal Richelieu been upto?

There are a lot of u30's that are vulnerable, those who have disabilities both mental and physical, those who have or who have had life changing illnesses and conditions, many and others  who have already had their first round of the AZ vaccine, do they get their second?

What happens to them?

The advice is to go ahead with the second if they experienced no side effects from the first dose.
