I’ve been told that the whole of Scotland will move down the tiers simultaneously rather than having one area in tier 4 while the neighbouring one is in tier 3 etc

A week ago I would have been fuming at that given South Ayrshire’s numbers - not so much now! Would be pretty awful for some parts of the country though.

But we are already in separate levels? Mainland is in Level 4 Islands are Level 3 it wouldn't make much sense to chuck this distinction out.

There'll be plenty of tiers if the pubs up north stay closed on the back of high numbers in manky areas elsewhere.

I am hearing from my sources:
5th April barbers
26th April beer gardens
17th May pubs

That’s 100% what I took from her comments today.
She made specific references to the April dates and if barbers in Wales are open, there’s no reason by any measure why they won’t open here. I guess garden centres will open then too, as they are generally good sized for social distancing (and gardening is basically all folk can do this Sptingtime aside from walking about looking gormless with takeaway coffees!). Beer gardens in late April follows a wearily predictable England +2 weeks timescale as would indoor hospitality.

Wifes had the AZ yesterday and feels like shite today. Sadly, despite chat of there not being any queue jumping based on occupation, it's clearly bullshit in the case of school staff and I will be weeks behind her.

Sore joints and shivering/cold?

Ehhhh..... if I was asked to describe the symptoms I would say mainly a constant whining noise, but aye, temperature has been mentioned.

She did show a rare moment of self awareness earlier on when I said she should have a bath and she replied that she feels so bad she will have a bath of her own tears.

Two hour timeslots can GTF.  That's fine for a restaurant, not a pub.

And drives pub crawls, I would say sit as long as you like because noone is drinking for 2 hours and then going away on their todd, best case scenario they are going to another bar worst case they all go home and have a pish up

The sad part is that it seems a fair and realistic proposal and I’m fully expecting the government to shit all over it.

Same here. Will believe it when i see it.

Unless I'm missing something, their April 26th/May 17th proposals don't seem too different to what people are expecting the Scottish Government to allow?

Fair play to them for coming up with some realistic suggestions, as opposed to that dullard from The Garage who appears have a daily slot on Radio Scotland just to moan about Nicola Sturgeon personally having it in for his shitty club.

I thought there was not going to be any of the “substantial meal” or time restriction nonsense? Maybe that was just for England but I’ll be furious if we go solo as a nation and stick with early shutting, time and food rules for the next 2 months, and that’s going to mean it’ll be 3 months before we get some sort of normal bar/ restaurant experience.

Retail: Essential retailers list expanded slightly and click-andcollect resumes for non-essential retail.

This and stay at home being lifted is all that is currently planned for 4th April.

Buzzing to be free to leave the house to wander about aimlessly staring into the middle distance as opposed to only being allowed out for exercise , shopping, work, childcare, socialising (with one other person), doctors appointments, MOTs, going to B&Q, Starbucks drive thru, visiting the dump, funerals and weddings.
