Alright, which pages of the report support the SNP being economically right wing?

The bit where they say they want to slash the deficit to below 3% in 5-10 years and won't allow the national debt to go beyond 50% of GDP.

If you are unable to work out what that means: it is guaranteeing that independence will be accompanied by another decade of even harsher austerity than the one the Tories have already subjected us to.

An Oor Willie fan but this is class.

Is he playing hide and seek with him?

Remember this....the swathes of people tripping over themselves to be seen grieving harder than the next person is but a fraction of a fraction of what we'll see when HRH Lizzie pops her clogs (a while off yet I'd imagine, she'll likely live to 110 at this rate)

That's the main event - none of us who are shifting slightly uncomfortably at these goings on are even approaching prepared for that eventuality.

I was just in the middle of posting the exact same thing re the hide and seek - at a push, maybe some reference to counting to 100?

He'll be easy enough to find at any rate.

Quote

OECD evidence demonstrates average consolidations from fiscal deficits of 7% to 1%, in comparison to Scotland’s anticipated starting point of 5.9% to a target of less than 3%

Scotland should also learn the lessons of both international examples and recent UK policy history by tending carefully to the impact of any deficit reduction on growth performance. Scotland should explicitly reject the austerity model pursued by the UK in recent years. Scotland needs to focus on both the real economy, and putting finances on a sustainable footing, as dual fiscal goals.

That's from the summary report from 3.158 to 3.162. It doesn't sound particularly right wing to me.

Andrew Pollard: another one of the absolute top boys. Someone who has contributed massively to the production of a vaccine that will help end the pandemic. Unlike fantasists and zealots whom I won't name.

Love the way you are fanatical about pointing out may and could type language in negative stories, and without a trace of irony post "hopefully" reports like they're gospel.

Not a comment on the veracity of the comment btw.

Not the first time Harding has claimed no one could predict something would happen that, erm, was actually quite predictable.

She's an utter fraud who should be sent flying into the sun.

It could just have something to do with the fact that what the future holds for this virus is ultimately erm... similar to that of every respiratory virus which is now endemic in the human population.
