Todays summary

Now accessed the other home nations for the cases per 100K latest.   These are a little behind the Scottish cases.  England 472.9,   Wales 289.9, Northern Ireland 353.1 all 3 dropping but slower than Scotland.

For interest Portugal 725, Spain 502, Czech 500 are the big hitters.

Scotland peaked at 301.9 for figures 29th Dec to 4th Jan    So our peak is still lower than where the other nations currently stand.

From 13th to 19th January we were down to  192.9

Todays figure for 14th Jan to 20th Jan is 190.0     Another single Day drop of 1.50%. Infections have dropped every day (16 days in a row) since the  aforementioned peak.  Total drop is now 37.06%

Click cases by neighbourhood to see the spread on the geographical map.

As todays drop is rather low I thought it would be interesting to look at each councils performance since their own Doomsdays around 4th-6th January and against the Scottish drop of 37%

I suggest they use green screens all around the pitch and use CGI to add in a crowd that isn't really there.  I am sure it would work.  Maybe cartoon characters would do the trick.

Watched a game back in Sept from Canada using CGI. Forge v Pacific.  It was pishe

I'm not surprised if they couldn't organise getting their gates unlocked.

Don’t think unlocking was the problem.  That’s been established.

i reckon no-one locked them so someone has come in a nicked all the gear.  Insurance won’t pay out so no more business.

You're right: it's a truly fantastic job she's presiding over. FUBRlPv.png

Barely 50% of our population share in today's figure should come as no surprise given the clownshoe response throughout the whole pandemic. We're even considerably behind Wales in today's figures FFS.

Like Scotland, England have handled the epidemic appallingly, but they are largely smashing the vaccine rollout. If they meet their original target and we don't, then heads should roll. Starting with that diddy Freeman.

If we have 9% of the UK population and say 10% of the population of England then we should be achieving 40k vaccinations a day. Why is this not happening?

Because the SG didn't properly prepare to hit the ground running.

The care homes taking priority was a smokescreen designed to play to the gallery who want to proclaim how much more NS cares.

As usual, it worked.
