What are the bets that this mad-rush panic, which has packed every supermarket in the country with non-socially-distanced morons, will result in a wider spread of the virus than if Tier 4 level rules had just carried on?

I know. It has to be the biggest mouth breathers of society who choose not to wear a mask and go shopping at the same time as me.

Unsure mate. I presume they should be if they're not just able to get full sick pay?

I don't even think I should be shielding any more  as i'm no longer on treatment and still no evidence of disease for 18 months 🤞

I do have a kiddy on lung disease that qualifies me, but I've never ever had any symptoms and it was only discovered by accident on an unrelated chest xray.

I still get all the correspondence tho. I'd contact my gp in the first instance to check you are still considered shielding tbh

I got a letter from the CMO just the other week regarding going to work in Tier 4 so I assume so.

NHS workers and care home workers so far. I know a few people in those sectors who have received the first dose.
The only people I know who have had a jab so far are all health care workers. I've got a few relatives in their 80s and none of them have had any word of when they might get one yet.

Thermal imaging
You just can't make up where this has gone!!
It's a ripper of a device. Stands head high and it creates a heat map of your body then gives a green or red light depending on reading. Must have cost a fair bit. If you refuse to be scanned it's straight back out the door too. No messing from the "admission police"

Care home residents too. Certainly my dad has had dose number one a couple of weeks ago.

None of that stops asymptomatic spread of air particles which is the main carrier.
I was being a bit facetious, my workplace has done the requirements as well but won’t spend the big bucks on changing the airflow system or windows. It’s been a case of taking the furlough money due to low orders rather than safety. I just laugh when the SG says covid secure as if it means anything.
The masks do that been compulsory outwith your singly occupied office for months.

Do panic buyers think the shops will just immediately stop selling milk and that? Wonder how many perishable food and drink items will go to waste this time while other people go without as a result of smoothbrained fuckwits? Or cupboards full of pasta and chopped tomatoes sitting undisturbed for months/years as the same arseholes remember they can't actually cook and order their favourite takeaway?

They just never learn. I'm already triggered looking back to 9 months ago when finding basic ingredients on shelves was like winning a scratchcard.

Margaret Ferrier has been arrested apparently because of her antics a while ago.

Police Scotland confirming they arrested a 60 year old woman, most likely her

Some people buying frozen pizzas is not going to have a greater impact on spread than an additional two weeks of classroom based schooling nationwide.

Very unclear on the whole construction thing .I cant go and fit a non essential radiator in someone's house .but I can go too a construction site.is a extension or loft conversion deemed construction.?

I would imagine that sites that are deemed construction don't have people living there in the majority of cases so everyone will be following the social distancing rules and PPE etc etc.

Just arrived In Kent for a funeral. LNER train was exceptional service and safety conscious. Hope Boris doesn't feck me for my hotel stay or return trip.

In good news I can still continue my footgolf which has replaced 5s.Screenshot_20210104-173623_Chrome.jpeg

Whats a non essential radiator? I would say heating in your home is pretty essential in January!

More likely Sturgeon will not let you back, having been in a hotbed of the infection.
