Unbelievable that the vaccine is being transported under escort and in unmarked lorries to prevent anti vaxxers attempting any sort of sabotage attack.

Hopefully any escort is unmarked / covert or it makes a farce of it being in unmarked lorries !!!

In this day and age..... Are you shocked by this?

A little yes. Seems extreme but obviously risk assessment has deemed it necessary.

With the stakes being as high as they are, it might just be belt and braces on steroids, but needs must. Imagine how fucking stupid the govt would look if a load of vaccine came a cropper.

We had people burning down 5g masts 8 months ago. Unfortunately, there are a lot of fucking idiots in the world.

I see the idiots have discovered Vaccine Damage Payment and seem to be weighing up their previous concerns Vs getting 60 or more percent disabled for £120,000.

Spoiler

Only problem is Covid isn't listed.

Thailand has just announced it's first local case in months yesterday (Chiang Rai). About 450 miles from me.

Now, I've been sent home from work as someone in the village has been diagnosed with  it and all their family (5 people in total).  This is Singburi provinces first ever positive test, in this whole pandemic.

All schools closed....everyone being told to go home and wait for news, which will be played over a  loud speaker.

We're in lockdown, real fucking lockdown, baton to the puss if you leave the garden lockdown.

They should run some unprotected, clearly marked decoy lorries to lure out all the anti-vax lunatics, aka the pedo-hunter tactic.

Given the criteria just laid out by Swinney for deciding if Higher and Advanced Higher exams go ahead, surely the answer to that has to be no and a cancellation announcement is imminent.
What's the thought process behind exams being cancelled if schools can stay open anyway? Because it's all older pupils in one big hall?

No clue, but its absolute lunacy some of the stuff we've been asked to do. Like not having prelims in the hall, but having them in class. Despite the halls obviously being a lot bigger and being able to spread kids out more, use multiple entrances and exits etc. Due to that, and other reasons presumably, we've also been told Prelims can be done in normal class time which of course means splitting the paper up since we don't have 2 and a half to 3 hour long periods (not forgetting pupils who get extra time for things like dyslexia, having English as a second language and so on).
