Having just discovered her Instagram id like to confirm she is not only a wid. But a complete danger.

Is she one of those *** lassies on Twitter who, every tweet since March has been calling Sturgeon a cunt and 'wee Nippy'?

From looking over her Instagram it would appear she’s attended many parties, flown abroad and is a Rangers fan yes.

A hairdressers in Bradford opened during lockdown and when told to shut and then fined quoted Magna Carta in their defence. As they have not paid their initial fine of £1000 they are now being fined £17,000.

It's even more ironic that our more right wing elements refer to Bradford as "Bradfordistan". Yet here is a citizen using ancient English law rather than the Sharia Law they claim is widely used in the area.

Plenty of folk criticising that lass for her decision but thankfully she has some knights like "@DefendOurIsland", a self confessed shagger and Christian apparently, riding to her defence. One guess what football team he supports...

No more or less shite than Christmas that governments are in thrall to at the moment. At least New Year is traditionally the more important Scottish holiday of the two.
The reality is that you could have fifteen households mixing over fifteen days and there wouldn't be too much of an impact - if you decided to first close down non-essential workplaces and the infection factory schools from December 11 and don't reopen them until the middle of January. It is the government's desire to keep the schools open 'as normal' that guarantees that the virus will be firing between households and then back onto the community by early January. A five day mixing window with literally no firebreak before or afterwards is yet again one of the worst possible decisions.
The only upside is that it provoked a frothing meltdown from Devi Sridhar on the news last night, who is now bemoaning why oh why people don't wait until April 2021 to celebrate anything when there is a
Exactly.
Heres a crazy idea, instead of eight weeks off in the summer why not close down schools and workplaces for two weeks and give furlough?
Cheaper than trying to treat thousands of patients in January.
The cost of ppe alone was 12 billion

Funnily enough Sridhar and the gang still aren't willing to put their beloved schools policy in similar cold storage: if the vaccine is coming over the horizon after all then they can just catch up on their education over the summer of 2021 instead.

As more data comes to light regarding the Covid hotspot that is the schools, I wonder if Westminster and the devolved governments will acknowledge that inviting old and/or vulnerable relatives round at Christmas if you have school-age kids in the house would be a particularly bad idea.

Putting children in a position to unwittingly infect granny and grandad is a shocking way to treat young people in this country. Still, so long as it appeases crazed lobby groups like UsForThem and those who want the weans out the house 5 days a week regardless of the effect on public health and the economy that is the main thing.

Votes and opinion polls still matter even during a global pandemic.

Close. You're within around 100 miles of being right.

Telling people for the best part of 8 months that they risk killing granny if they visit her, only to say its ok to have her round for Christmas dinner, is absolutely the kind of disjointed message you would expect from our Covid response.

I'm assuming/hoping they won't be allowing residents of care homes to visit family over Christmas?

My gran is in a home and I just have a vision of one of my more idiotic uncles carting her out on Christmas day to attend a super-spreading event and eat a bit of turkey.

Elgin City hoping to have fans back this weekend. They have a meeting with Moray Council on Thursday and details will be revealed thereafter.

That'll be nearly 4 weeks since they were placed in tier 1.

No wonder the whole thing is shambles - so you have the Scottish Government, the SFA, the JRG, the local authority and lastly the club itself all having its own wee say in what can and cannot be done.

Rightly or wrongly, you just know that when crowds go back in parts of England next week, they won't have to go through the same convoluted process with the long, drawn out end result being nothing more than pilot level numbers.

If Moray Council's Health & Safety and Environmental Health officers are prioritising shops, pubs, cafes and building sites over a fortnightly gathering of 500 Elgin fans it's to their immense credit
