No problem so long as it's explained and justified.

We know the explanation / justification already. 2m reduces the risk of transmission. We won't get anything different to that if it's retained.

True.

I think what I mean is, what's the pay off? What do we get sooner by staying at 2M. than going to 1M. (it's not fans back at the football in any capacity at the start of the season anyway)

I am sure I heard somewhere that indoor swimming pools are among one of the last things that will be opened.

To be fair, it'd be difficult to remove the water from every second lane to allow for social distancing.

Some Leicester factories stayed open and forced staff to come in, report warns

https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2020/jun/30/some-leicester-factories-stayed-open-and-forced-staff-to-come-in

The findings from Labour Behind the Label includes allegations that workers were forced to work despite high levels of infection in factories and allegations of “furlough fraud”.

And on Tuesday, testimony compiled by Labour Behind the Label set out what the report’s authors claimed was a “shameful” disregard for worker safety by the factories and the major UK brands operating in Leicester.

As well as problems with factory conditions, others have suggested that the outbreak gained pace among workers in food processing sites around the city and spread quickly in part because of overcrowded housing.

There was horse racing at Leicester last night which I found fucking absurd

What's the craic with swimming pools and such like?

A group of senior elite swimmers back in at Stirling Uni this week so hopefully that’s the start of something. All senior swimmers back next then clubs then public I would think.

Schools will be the carrot I expect. We'll see tomorrow but you can sense it.
