bennett
I suppose it's better being safe than sorry, I was hoping for a bit more today but it's still an improvement. Phase 1.5.

You can meet more than one household outside now? (Which most people have already being doing and keeping distanced) but you still can’t pop in to 1 friends/families household at all? You can go in for a pish now.

superbigal
Biggest news of day I believe apart from confirmation 100s of russian Medics have perished. Thousands of people in Germany have been told to go into quarantine after a coronavirus outbreak at an abattoir. More than 650 people have tested positive for the virus at the meat processing plant in Gütersloh, in the north-west of the country. Operations at the site have been suspended since Wednesday afternoon. Over 1,000 workers have been tested so far, with thousands of others still awaiting testing. They and the people they came into contact with have been told to been told to remain in quarantine until they receive their results. A spokesman for the company that operates the site, the Tönnies Group, has apologised. In response to the outbreak, local authorities have suspended schools and childcare centres in the region until the end of the month. Chancellor Angela Merkel said she "welcomed" the measures to prevent the further spread of the virus in the area. Similarly, the self-motivated attention-seeking workplace warriors who'd turn up with Ebola will only change their behaviour if they can somehow martyr themselves by making a show of staying at home to protect the workplace. Not sure how we pull that off. Maybe erect in-office memorials for Karen, who selflessly saved an estimated 430 working hours this year by staying in her fucking bed and not infecting everyone else with the flu. You don't really like Karen, do you?
19QOS19
It actually pains me how fucking thick my wife's family are. They have a group chat (that I had to leave weeks ago before I blew) and the eldest sister has said "Oh the grandkids can stay over at mum n dad's now". Fucking idiot. They've been doing whatever the f**k they want for weeks anyway so it's no surprise really.

Boo Khaki
Given the relationship Germans have with pork and sausages, I wouldn't be remotely surprised to find out it's the single largest employer on the planet after the People's Liberation Army
