Did some shopping in Home Bargains today. Short queue to get in. Everyone outside standing pretty much exactly on the 2m guide tapes. Once inside, not possible to maintain a strict 2m distance from everyone, all the time. As I looked for the toothpaste I wanted, a woman walked past me to get to whatever she wanted further up the aisle. We never spat on each other, never coughed on each other, never shook hands, never shagged, never snogged, never breathed down each other’s neck, never had a high-five, never rubbed noses in an Eskimo sort of way.... no worries.

I’m finding that the majority of people are doing their best. Trying to be respectful. There’s always going to be situations where we briefly breeze past each other as we go about our business.

She was a right MILF type though. Shame she never fancied breaking the 2m guidelines in a more meaningful manner....

I will deny saying this in court.

So a woman barged past you but because she was a ride that's fine

I'm not a fan of supermarkets making everyone take a trolley despite if there's 2of you going in, or if you just want a couple of loads of bread or whatever. It doesn't increase social distancing and instead forces less space within the shopping aisles to get past.

The lockdown does strange things, there's me going into fight or flee mode and there's you thinking constantly about sex and that's the closest you've been to ever having sex. Which one of us two is the WFTW?

Ah, I was only thinking about sex because a milfy yummy mummy apparently barged past me in a Home Bargains store.

Pssst. Is Pornhub Premium still free? 😀

Spice is the Scottish Parliament Information Centre.

As for your other bit about "people at home looking for trends",  I really couldn't care less.  If an armchair epidemiologist is struggling to understand a 7 day rolling average, that's their fault.  I don't want the SG spending more money (because that's what it would take unless you are wanting the existing staff to work 2 extra days for free or alternatively employ additional staff without pay) so that wee jimmy doesn't get too confused.

Thanks. I'd never heard of Spice.

I think we both agree they shouldn't bother publishing death stats at weekends on the current basis, then, as it's a pointless waste of time and money.

That's why I've been campaigning for the super-trolley to be rolled out (pun intended).       A big 10 foot long 5 foot wide b*****d of a trolley that will ensure social distancing and made overtaking harder than the Monaco Grand Prix.

So know you can go to the park etc and meet one member of family you don’t live with? As long as you stay 2m apart?

Edit - that may be england only?

Folk could have done that from Day 1 of the lockdown here (and indeed the rest of the UK)

Sainsbury’s on Saturday allowed me to go in and get a basket.

This Boris briefing is fcuking unbelieveable. I’m an SNP voter because my local MP is very good, and I loosely believe that Scottish independence is a good idea. Now though, FFS, the sooner we get away from these cnuts the better. When’s IndyRef 2 again?

There's a BBC documentary tonight featuring epidemiologists arguing that if Scotalnd had locked down two weeks earlier 80% fewer people would have died.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-52617895

Also says that there was a super spreader event in February at a Nike conference in Edinburgh.  Nike have confimed that they traced all contacts by their employees, maybe we should put them in charge of the new app.

Did my weekly grocery shopping at the local ASDA and this week social distancing and the whole point of having the direction arrows on the floor is now out the window. They all seem to have given up and I'm the only one who pays attention.

Currently drinking toilet duck and blackcurrant to fend of a potential virus attack.

Inverness Asda? I don’t think there was ever social distancing in there.

I was in the queue for the self service on Friday and there was some wifey literally standing right behind me. If she was male her penis would’ve been against me, and not in a good way.

Boris is terrifyingly out of his depth here. He knows it too. We haven't even got to the media questions yet either. If it wasn't such a serious issue it would be outstanding viewing. He can't string a coherent sentence together.

Announce independence pronto.

My local seems to have given up on the 1 adult per household rule. Which is a massive disappointment because such a rule has made the supermarket experience far better and should become law.
also need some way of forcing people to pick what they need and move on quickly.  Time activated electric pads maybe.  More than 10-15 seconds wondering what to choose from the shelf of near identical products gets you a  shock,
