Trump basically saying that Americans are more important than anyone else and that he'll use war powers to confiscate other countries' supplies if they don't hand it over willingly.

On those graphs, our figures nearly doubled between 31st March and 5th April (25K to 48K-ish).  Germany's only went up by about 35% (75K - 100K-ish).  Of course our line is steeper than theirs.

Low lying fruit maybe. That last 10% will be a bugger to pick up!

Fair play Nicola going on good morning Britain.
Probably the toughest gig out there facing Piers for now.

Any politician that's any good can deal with him.

The online whinging and whining that is being reported is farcical.

There will be people who have been seriously affected by this thing but there are others moaning about missing birthdays, being restricted to the house, losing a few quid in income.  Big fucking deal.

I'ts hard to believe we'll be out of lockdown before the end of June and possibly later than that.

IMO, this will continue until the NHS is no longer at risk of being overwhelmed.

We should settle in for the long run.

Absolutely not going to happen.

Just because it is worse for other people doesn't mean it can't still be shit for you.

What fucking chance have we got when the general public, and in fact off duty tesco employees, cannot follow a fucking simple one way system around a shop.

The one way system is almost a waste of time, most people don’t follow it.

Correct, it's infuriating.

is it like ikea where if you forgot to pick up oranges you need to go round the whole shop again

No the big cross aisles are two way and if you forget something you just go up the next aisle and double back round.

I got screamed at today because I took two steps back to get eggs.  I don't even like eggs.  They were for my poor old mum.

I don’t think that anyone doesn’t think it’s shit for everyone but listening to people moaning about it doesn’t really improve things.

We are all missing things, people, events, exercise, pubs etc but it’s blatantly obvious that basically everything has stopped and we all know why. Going over it online and in the papers is just annoyingly pointing out the obvious now.

I wish there was someone in my local Tesco screaming at the idiots who are walking round the wrong way. Two steps back is a bloody minor thing compared to these morons.

Aye, it depends on what you are looking to compare I suppose. The tail off at the end will alwyas look the same, but if you want to compare the rate of rise then it's not helpful to look at different scales. Adjusting the Y axis scale on ours to match theirs would make our line less steep. It doesnt really matter tbh. The only thing anyone really wants to see is flattening and that will show on any graph.

People are sick of graphs IMO
Someone do a graph of how sick people are of graphs.

I had forgot something that was further down the aisle and instead of driving the trolley back the opposite way the arrows were pointing I went in reverse.
