Benjamin_Nevis
This Nicola's pal line from Unionists is laughable if you know Calderwood's background. Lex has been a figure of ridicule for years [emoji23]

Not all calling for Calderwood's head are Yoons, even on this thread. You are behaving as badly as those you condemn. It's dead simple: She fucked up, had her wrist smacked and accepted her error. We all move on and are wiser for it. That should be the end of the story. Hopefully, not convinced, the MSM and opposition parties can't help themselves up here. I really hope today is the last of it as we enter the most crucial period of this 1st wave over the next 9 or 10 days.

My main gripe is that there is clearly a deliberate misunderstanding by some, who should know better, about who makes decisions about the Civil Service. In terms of natural justice it is absolutely right that the First Minister does not have the power to make that decision.

Thereisalight..
Another day of bracing winds and Baltic temps here in Ayrshire. I passed about 3 people on the mile stretch of beach I walked on, nobody in groups or having BBQs as predicted , I also passed a park and only saw dog walkers, nobody sunbathing. People will be raging
