I meant not sticking to the rules in regard to not visiting family/friends or going to beaches or parks for a BBQ, not mass law and order breakdown that requires guns and shooting people to death

Just been saying that on radio 5.  Someone said that folk will start visiting others due to climbing the walls.  I can see this happening if we are still like this in a month.  Was supposed to be moving house this week and I'm now stuck with two rustic schemies fir neighbours until this is all over.  Gutted.

Loving the new development of Jerry Cole saying the WHO inflated cases of Swine flu to epidemic level, days after claiming that Covid-19 wasn't a big issue because it would claim a lot less lives than, erm Swine flu.

Do you remember the swine flu lockdown?

doh!

I've been having a wee look on worldmeters trying to look for patterns in the graphs.

We keep talking about curves, but a pyramid shape seems a more fitting description.

Is that better due to cases dropping off more quickly from the peak, or does it not really make much difference

The graphs are only showing an exponential increase in testing

nothing more

No, i repeated what you said, hence why I asked.

so why would we test to see if they are dead?

No, you said that death graphs showed an increase as a result of exponentially increasing testing.

That doesn't make any sense.

Feels like whenever I go out either to the shop or for a walk I’m the only c**t that actually gives a f**k about social distancing. Regularly being the only one who makes an obvious effort to keep a safe distance from other people while most just carry on as they were as if I’m not there. Special mention to cyclists and joggers for being the worst of the lot. What the f**k is wrong with people?

Indeed I did. But what that got to do with your question?

That doesn’t make any sense

Are you ok?

My question was, quite clearly, why you think the death graphs are showing an increase as a result of exponential growth in testing rather than just more people dying?

If masks were available im fair certain a lot of people would wear them to the shops.

Even if they had zero benefit people would feel less anxious perhaps.

But they aren't available, which kind of makes that report pointless

I find on a walk in my local area it's absolutely fine, people walk past giving each other space.

It's only in the supermarkets where you get issues. It's always bloody old folk as well, walking right in about you.
