Yes.  You are right.  Marian Margoyle does appear twice in Blackadder but not in that role.

You've had a 'made here Fullers. This is tantamount to getting Partridge wrong in PnB terms. I suggestions time out watching repeats of classic comedy. We'll talk again later.

Eta, it's Miriam not Marion. Get on Gold until Saturday.

Also it's Margolyes.

Sweden looks like its taking part in some horrific experiment. Who is running this, not the governments??

Has anyone on here played the Fallout games? This reminds me of the bomb vault experiments where every vault had a different experiment ran by scientists paid for by the vault makers, the military and the multinational corporations and usually ended in the total annihilation of the inhabitants.

I think they've handled it pretty well. Panic and hysteria don't help anyone. They will tighten things when the public health authority says they need to. It helps that most Swedish adults are intelligent enough to self police.

Easy to fall back on stereotypes but the Scandinavians generally don't get phased by much, maybe its the hard winters and the idea of just getting on with it. Shit would only get serious if the vodka ran out.

Why do so many of them top themselves then?

Jeremiah_Cole mentioned last night about criminal trials without jury

Justice secretary amendment to remove trials without juries from bill

Mr Yousaf says the government is working in a spirit of compromise and consensus and adds "we understand how vital the principle of trial by jury is".
The justice secretary says the proposal to have trials without juries is proportionate, but does not have the support of this chamber and he is aware of the concerns of the profession.
"Accordingly I intend to move an amendment at Stage 2 which will remove that section of the bill."

Don't tell me he got something 100% wrong? That's not like him at all...

Over here some supermarkets are forcing people to use a trolley when going into their store. Despite all the manky b*****ds touching it with their hands and all staff not wearing protective gloves. Fucking stupid, stupid stuff.
Went to ASDA yesterday, they have cleaning stations with sanitiser and paper towels by the trolleys so you can clean them when you get one.

Don't know why they bother listing the confirmed cases, it's all but meaningless given the different testing protocols and availability, but the deaths v recovery stats are pretty startling.

The UK recovery stats can't be right, are they not signing people off properly when they get discharged?

Ad time is purchased in advance, if it's already paid for and scheduled may as well run with it.

Was just going to say this.

These adverts will have been scheduled weeks, if not months, in advance. TV companies have two choices - go with what's scheduled, or make up some new material to fill the gaps. What's easier?
