Coronavirus (COVID-19)

And then when it's all over the #torycunts will be back to disparaging them.

I’d imagine, or at least hope, that people would react very angrily to any attempt to make cutbacks after this.

I think the idea of a changed society is unlikely, but I do think the NHS will be given an elevated status.

^^^ Nostradamus-esque

I know it’s not a wild, bold prediction. But I do wonder how, if at all, we can possibly control this to avoid having us come out of isolation only to need to go back into it straight away with a huge spike in cases.

It certainly should be. Hopefully the testing kits becoming available to the wider public will allow for increased testing and any further outbreaks will be contained in pockets.

I've been optimistic throughout this but for first time I'm genuinely thinking this might actually be containable in the short term until a vaccine is found.

We can only hope so. As well as maybe realising the the people who are actually the important ones responsible for keeping society running are the NHS workers, shop workers, delivery drivers, production and distribution staff, and they deserve the respect and decent wages, not the fucking bankers, stock market traders, politicians, and all the other wankspanners.

Won’t happen.  I take no pleasure in saying this.

I'm stuck in for 12 weeks. It is what it is.

Immunosuppressed? Likewise. However this could well be shortened should widespread testing be available much sooner.

Given the 80% wage pledge, it is in the Governments best interest to test, identify, isolate and release as quickly as is possible.

Oh absolutely, but they can be a distraction from all the doom and gloom

Chewing your own arm off is also a distraction but I wouldn’t recommend that either.
