I used to work with a big Fifer (I think he was from Buckhaven) and he always described his wife as "having a fanny like a pulled out fireplace"

"Fanny like a Vandalised bus seat" is another of my favourites

Woke up with a dose of the violent Earthas at 2.30am.  Started sweating like sjc in a Japanese school and thought this is it.

Have taken 3 Imodium. Currently on the sofa with a quilt.

Will report back later.

Is the quilt below you or around you? Might be better for the sofa if the former.

Covid 19 - bad.

London Underground - a joke, get that fcuking sorted if you’re telling me to stay at home, Boris you Tory w**k.

Abba’s ‘Voulez Vous’ - great.

Abba’s ‘Eagle’ - great.

That’s about all I have in my locker today. Not great, need a good pre-season in me.

You're not supposed to be in the golf club! Jeeezo.

That song, and indeed that video, is precisely the peak of Girls Aloud. Topped only by the rarely seen/heard cover of Teenage Dirtbag.

A lot better than I thought it would be.

I've occasionally wondered what changes the covid19 era will have on our long term behaviours.  When this video started, and some of the girls were leaning on each other, bizarrely the first thought that came into my head was that they shouldn't all be standing so close to one another.

The next thought was wid, wid, wid, wid, wid.

But a much higher R0?
If they don't have to handle it like Ebola, or Y Pestis, then they can treat it in more "normal" surroundings without wearing full hazmat suits etc, which given the r0 of covid 19 is probably necessary or we'd end up unable to treat people.

Caught the tail end of a bit on 5 Live this morning where an ‘expert’ guest was suggesting the 80% wage subsidy is not universal but would only be available for employees who would otherwise have been made redundant.

That wasn’t my interpretation nor do I think it is the wider interpretation of employers.
