So there we have it.  Totally bizarre.

Surely a decision can be made about essential work?

Like you mentioned earlier, if someone has half a roof, then that needs to be fixed.

But if it's not in any way 'urgently needing done' then cancel the job.

The government advice is very clear at the moment, but they can't go into every single detail for every industry.

Any suggestions of songs to start while washing my hands so I know how long 20 seconds is? Happy birthday x2 is useful I’ve heard.

As a tribute to the late Kenny Rogers.

"You took a fine time to leave me Lucille.  Four hundred children and a crop in the field"

He also did another song called "Highland Industries".

It's clear for me, an office worker who can work from home.

It's not clear for guys who work on building sites in construction.

Clear?  Yes it’s clear from that tweet that construction sites should carry on regardless of wether or not they’re essential.

It’s an absolute nonsense.

Are you an essential worker?

Granny you should know by now I am not, never have been, and never will be, essential for any purpose whatsoever.

Any word about what happens to those who do not have a home to go to?

They get Coronavirus, obviously.

If the construction work is essential then it needs to continue.

But most construction is not essential. Secure the sites and get folk home.

Nonsense.  Where would we be without the bureaucrats?

I agree but that’s not what the government is saying.  Given there could well be contractual issues involved clear, unequivocal direction is required.
