Coronavirus (COVID-19)

I'd love to see a full scale lockdown, a wonderful chance to see all the crying entitled morons bitching. A huge amount of the population will not be able to cope and i'd expect a lot of unrest as they have been so used to getting everything their way for years.

Closing McDonalds is a classic, complete minks will have no idea what to do with themselves now or how to feed their kids.

They will still come to Tesco as if it's a family outing.

The Dunfermline drive through is frequented in the mornings by dults with learning difficulties and their carers, this will cause great upset to people who have no comprehension of the current pandemic.

Typo or the official term nowadays?

Like when Rangers fans couldn't understand why they went bust and couldn't start back in the Premiership whilst wiping their debts?

I'd cut them a bit of slack at the moment, can't be easy occupying some of them all day at the moment.

Don’t think I’ve ever lived through a weirder period than this, and I’ve been around for nearly sixty years now. Today just didn’t feel like a Sunday. Yesterday definitely didn’t feel like a Saturday. The days feel the same - another coronavirus dominated day. It’s like the period between Christmas and New Year, but not in a temporary, it’ll be back to normal by January 2nd way. As if things couldn’t get any more fcuked, Tom Brady signs for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers..

I need more bourbon & coke.

NHS paramedic evicted from home for fear he would spread Covid-19

When you work as a paramedic for the NHS and you get evicted over a text by your land lady. Because of this I now won't be able to work my 12hr night shift tomorrow, so that means one less paramedic on the road. At these unprecedented times we need our NHS demand more than ever.

Unrelated but do you still work in a bookies? Are they still open, there can’t be anything to bet on at the moment.

Shut on Friday for a fortnight. Paddy’s were the only ones who seemed to have prepared for it as well. They just switched all their domestic offers on to international racing and tried to get people to punt on esports and Russian basketball. We didn’t even really lose much business. Will be glad when the places are gone or drastically curtailed.

That does strike me as a rather negative headline.

Could we be seeing Italy's lockdown paying dividends?

Seems ridiculous that over 600 deaths in a day could be a positive, here's hoping.

Think you need to see drops over a sustained period before you get more positive.

If you'd though it was going to peak at just under 400 deaths after a couple of days of decreasing figures you'd have obviously got it very wrong.

Of course. It's the sensationalist title that bothered me most
