Spent today Group Calling kids to make sure they knew as well as replying to email to try and reassure them.

SQA have been bloody awful IMHO - the lack of concrete advice and clarity is just shocking

In other good news, after years of being pish, I’m getting good at Gran Turismo and F1 2019 on the PS4. Even better is The Golf Club 2019 on the PS4, where not only am I now shooting lower scores, but the last course I designed myself has had 967 plays. ‘Mon the coronavirus.

What's your driver rating on GT Sport?

We're having to take 10 days unpaid leave with work, will be deducted from our next 3 wage packets.

Redundancy will be discussed tomorrow. Effectively looks like all positions will be at least halved.

A truly worrying time.

Honestly no idea. I don’t take part in online races, so if it has to do with racing online against others, I won’t have one at all.

Off topic but are there any good free games for a tablet, up to date on curb your enthusiasm and netflix is too much scrolling not enough watching. Holed up in a b & b with no telly. Strategy games that don't require you to skin yourself for add ons
Just watch It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia on Netflix. Far better than any game.

I’m rubbish at GTA, well, the missions anyway. I just like driving around punching people in the gob, or exploring the city.

I like walking into the Malibu Club and torching all the clubbers with the flamethrower (or petrol bomb) until they look like a charred Uncle Owen & Aunt Beru.  I'll then go back outside, shoot some unlucky driver's head off through his windscreen, drag his blood-spurting corpse out of the car and then take it for a relaxing spin down the palm-lined boulevard at Washington Beach whilst listening to Emotion 98.3.

Takes the edge off the day.

I understood the government's decision to cover 80% of wages was to protect jobs.

Why does your employer feel they can't make use of this?

I hope things work out for you

If you drop off in FV give me a shout and will get you a coffee.

I'm having a few beers tonight to distract myself from tomorrow.  Apparently we're good to go with the assessment hub.

Can't say I'm not a tad apprehensive especially when you see the story about a 36 year old nurse on a ventilator with no pre existing health issues.

I'm a 40 something stallion with a slight alcohol issue and dodgy calves so should be ok.  Hopefully the PPE is better than the pish they supplied for the practice last week.

Stay safe everyone and adhere to the advice.

Fermer tae? Busy man!

This is really going to sound like birthday caird pish, but anyway - with everything that’s going on, typing away on here and chewing the fat with you guys is genuinely theraputic and helpful. Even if we don’t all agree on everything.

There. Said it. Birthday caird pish. 🙂

Very first world problems but supermarkets shutting at 8pm is a right pain in the arse.

I saw some stuff earlier in the week about closing midnight-6am which seemed fair but this is  abit annoying with it likely meaning I’ll be rushing out after work to see what the scraps they left over.  Probably will affect others more and there’s certainly bigger worries but it’s a pain
