I'm not sure having these running totals helps at all - we don't get one for the flu each year, nor cancer. We'd be much more frightened of them if we did.

Good point, this. Could be that more Italians have died of regular flu during the same period that 1,000 died of  CV...

I was in Tesco in Springburn about an hour ago, and they had no toilet rolls, dried pasta, liquid soap, hand sanitiser or rice (other than those Uncle Ben's microwave packs).
They did have several aisles full of people raging that someone else had decided to stockpile before they could though.
Don't tell anyone, but the Co-op in Wallacewell Road had Andrex earlier.

So Arteta and Hudson Odoi are feeling better already. Possibly because they are young, fit footballer types. If it is more dangerous to people with underlying health issues then all these cyclists and tennis players that say they have asthma must be shitting themselves...😁

I’ve read that people get it.  Fall ill.  Recover for a while and fall ill again.  That’s why its spread so well.  You feel better, go back to work etc and your still infected.

When the wee boy ate that bat , little did he know it would it would result in shortage of hand sanitizer in Kirkton. Butterfly effect in action.

I wonder if Trump will falsely announce he has coronavirus, to propagate the myths that a) the virus isn't that bad and b) he is healthy enough to resist it.

He'll then hang out in bed for a few days eating KFC and watching Fox News, emerge again saying he's a optimal specimen and doctors are astonished how he's so fit.

Lot of young health workers dying, seems to be more dangerous the more exposure you get.

Or the more you knacker yourself out doing multiple double/triple shifts trying to keep old folk alive. Haven't we been over this?
