invergowrie arab
All these daft c***s with the sanitiser are going to be nice and clean and non contagious to others but it won't save them when I sneeze on them.
invergowrie arab
Genuinely frightening the number of people who think a bit of exposure to a virus = vaccination as opposed to your body over responding and killing you next time.

With all else equal you'd imagine our mortality rate would be higher than theirs. It's what happens when you spend a lifetime drinking irn bru and clogging arteries with junk food at any given chance. It's like Glaswegians are incapable of eating healthy and have missed a huge chunk of education for some reason.
Guest Moomintroll
I know someone who is a carer for an elderly relative who has similar worries.Probably NSFW story I remember reading an article about Jon Holmes, the infamously well endowed 1970s porn star. He was involved in a brutal mass murder, the Wonderland killings, which centred around a robbery of Eddie Nash, who was a notorious drug dealer in LA at that time. One of the stories about Nash was that he used to use his status as a drug dealer to degrade drug addicted women, one of his favourite tricks was to keep a few girls who were needing a hit around and after he’d done a shit, he’d get one of them to lick him clean in exchange for some coke or heroin. Clearly a reprehensible person. But, at least he had an alternative should a shortage of toilet paper occurred. Well I hope he had a very horrible, painful death. Utter scum.

We have seen it several times before with things like SARS, swine flu, bird flu and Ebola and this is just another storm in a teacup that will be completely forgotten about by the Easter break where I will be enjoying my holiday at Haggerston castle and happily sneezing away without having to worry about covering my mouth just I was at the tail end of 2019.

bendan
It's odd that Iceland has 50 cases and almost all have come from people who have themselves been in Italy, yet Italy only reports 5000 odd cases. Italy's population is about 160 times Iceland's, so if we say 40 out of Iceland's 50 were acquired in Italy, they have a higher proportion of their population picking up the virus *in Italy* than Italy itself. Which would suggest the Italian stats are utter bollocks, unless the virus has been extremely prevalent in ski resorts. The decision to quarantine such a large area will see their economy completely fucked. Bailouts from the EU incoming... Disappointed they're doing this without a Simpsons-style giant dome to shut everyone off.
