That old chestnut...
Surely he could have waited till the end of the season ?


Hardly in free fall and hardly aging he just wants a break from football the usual in here don’t know truth lets make something up

II watched them on Saturday and think they missed Wilson in midfield. On top of that they were either missing players or the squad is very thin. Lot of good players , but maybe need to add to the squad as a couple looked out of their depth.

Not being a pedant but Beiths season will be over by April...

I very much doubt we won’t have any games called off for weather between now and end of season so let’s not be pedantic and call it May. Johnny says he needs a break now not April not May but unfortunately for beith it’s now

Top manager. Did a great job, and of course, will always be celebrated as the first Beith manager to win the Scottish Junior Cup. That record will always be his.

 

I think his decision needs to be respected, IMO he has more than earned the right to step down when he chooses, but they will be big shoes to fill.

And by moving out now puts Beith in a much stronger position for next season. A new manager coming in would initially  have to try their best to keep the players from the existing squad they want AND try and bring in players in an extremely short window. This gives them a chance to build for next season.
