1320Lichtie Posted January 27, 2020 Share Posted January 27, 2020 To be fair was pretty difficult, guy was surrounded by guys and probably never saw it until very late. Sometimes easier watching it from on the terracing, putting yourself in his shoes and picturing what the guys seeing it would've been tough. He's not the most commanding or biggest guy so we just stuck the big lads Thomson and LD in front of him every corner and he struggled big time with that. For the first goal Hammy had a nice wee jink too he's not had credit for on here yet. Good moves. As for the goal kicks they were just daft. Wasn't sure where the ironic cheering was coming from for a lot of them but think they were possibly coming from the away end. I've read some say that the wind died down in the second half. I don't personally think it did, if it did it was minimal. Standing behind the goals towards the end and the wind was ridiculously strong. We are just a competent team playing in those conditions whilst Partick looked like a mess. Hammerafc Posted January 28, 2020 Share Posted January 28, 2020 They managed to show a Partick attack in the first half but none of the Arbroath play in the second which we had a good chance to go 3 up. Also noted clever play from Bobby Linn in the commentary which considering he wasn't playing was a good effort on Bobby's part. The chance you note was a daisy crawler from the edge of the box the keeper could've got with his eyes shut don't think you can knock them for not putting that in. I don't know if I'm for the commentary or not.
