I'm a massive fan of the book and believe that it's right up there with the very best of King's work, and with HBO as the network in charge, I've got pretty high hopes that this is going to be a great adaptation. The acting is excellent and the story is moving at a pace that moves it along sufficiently to keep you engaged but without rushing anything.
