Rangers vs Stranraer. The Loving Cup Match. Jan 17th.

Recommended Posts

Our first game of the new year and great to see our big Stranraer pals back at Ibrox.  It's been more than three years.

41K sellout probably. Club deck shut for maintenance I heard. Weve sold 450 of our 900 allocation. Given the other half back to Rangers.

Dear reader, I bring you grave news from the Reichstag.  I received an interesting email from my Rugger Guy.  Mr S Gerrard is less than happy with David Cunnigham King about assurances given regarding the state of Castle Greyskull.  Please donate to be given access to my password protected, tell all exposé.

Glad to hear you’ve missed us Kincardine - pity this is the cup as we could do with a repeat of that Boxing Day point this season given our position ☹️

I just had a keek at the table and ouch.  Still, two things to cheer you up - half of a 40K gate and this memory:

The headline:

Stranraer’s comeback man Ryan Stevenson aims to give pal Allan McGregor the Blues in Scottish Cup clash with Rangers

The article:  https://www.sundaypost.com/fp/stranraers-comeback-man-ryan-stevenson-aims-to-give-pal-allan-mcgregor-the-blues-in-scottish-cup-clash/

The conclusion: Stevenson's a rocket.

That's nice. The man has suffered from depression and mental health issues. Deserves a lot of credit for speaking out in other articles and podcasts. It's a very serious issue.

Sorry.  It was a terrible pun and highly insensitive of me.

Few questions before I visit.

Is there free parking at the ground or close by?

Can spectators swap ends at half time?

Do Rangers do a match day programmes?

Do you have a snack bar? If so does it cater for for lactose intolerant vegans?

Can I bring my dog into the ground?

Jamie Hamill is rotten emoji1787.png. How is he still playing?

The amount of coverage he's had in the buildup, coupled with my lack of seaside league knowledge, had me convinced he was the manager until I saw the interview with Farrell before the game.

Cerny-esque performance from the Stranraer goalie so far.

Top marks
