After 34 games the top 4 in Belgium go into a double round robin with points earned in the regular season being halved. 5th-8th also take part in a playoff using the same format for a Europa Conference spot.

On the subject of Turkey Galtasaray are languishing in 12th 8 points off of the European spots.

13th, and this is after an uptake in form recently. I'm sure they were only 3 points above the relegation places at Christmas.

Similarly in Poland, Legia Warsaw were bottom when the Ekstraklasa league went on its winter break. Since it resumed, though, their last 9 games have seen 6 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat, so they've climbed up to mid-table.

Only two clubs have broken Sheriff Tiraspol's just over two decade stranglehold on Moldovan football those being Dacia Chișinău in 10-11& Milsami Orhei in 14-15.
I wouldn't expect another winner anytime soon given the money Sheriff likely brought in from last seasons UCL exploits.

Sheriff are currently seven points clear with half of the season played.
