Radford Posted January 19, 2020 Share Posted January 19, 2020 I thought Morton did alright in the match, certainly up until the second goal. Saints were poor though. I suppose you have to put part of that down to the few weeks off. Couple of bits of quality in the game and that was the only real difference. Wright getting by Strapp before the ball found its way to Booth was about the only time any winger managed it all day but the finish was perfect, even if he'd struggle to repeat it. The other bit was maybe the major positive and it was May's finish. Morton defence probably sleeping but was not expecting that sort of finish from May. Offers some real hope. He needs to get back to playing on the shoulder more, even if the acceleration off the last defender isn't what it once was. Davidson got about the pitch and Booth did alright but a game to get them going again rather than one that ever hit the heights.
