Hygiene routine

Inspired by bathroom habits;

Do you guys have any particular hygiene quirks about? For me it’s shampoo then condition my hair then beard. Charcoal face wash, then body wash. After I’m dried it’s teeth brushed with charcoal every third day and every day in between with toothpaste And moisturising after every shower.

She says I’m mad and I’m inclined to agree.

Some folk on here don't manage to wash their hands, you seriously expect them to use charcoal face wash (whatever that is)

It's what people who pretend to be coal miners use. And Justin Trudeau.

It was a special day today., had to look good as I was going to the temple. I  used soap to wash my hair, couldn't be bothered getting out the shower to go and get the new shampoo that was upstairs.  Then I had a shave with the same soap.

Shit, shower (shampoo, shower gel), dry, brush teeth, shave, deoderant, dress, hair gel, clean specs

I don’t have specs and can’t be fucked with hair gel, but generally this. Might change it about occasionally by brushing my teeth before I sit on the lavvy.

To the OP - why charcoal? A nice vegan lady at my work told me that coconut oil was the stuff for clean teeth. Needless to say I haven’t done it yet, but still, knowledge is power.

I just noticed this guy shaves after the shower. I shave before the shower. Then your mirror isn’t all steamed up and any leftover bits of shaving foam get washed off.

Coconut oil is like using lard, it's the fattiest stuff on the planet and you'll never get rid of the horrible taste. Why do people use deodorant when they've just had a shower? I use it as an alternative.

Right then, I’ll stick to toothpaste.

the deodorant/anti-perspirant thing is just automatic. These days it’s a quick scoosh under each arm. There’s a guy at my work who perpetually reeks of stale sweat. Nobody tells him. I never want to be that man.

Nah, oaksoft can sack anyone, anywhere, anytime.

I must have missed the sacking posts. I would love to introduce him to the monotony of trying to performance manage someone out the door, while trying to retain your own sanity.

In the case of poor personal hygiene it’s an absolute minefield of a thing to address, leaving yourself open to a bullying allegation. Best to just ignore it and try not to get trapped in the teapoint at the same time.

Wait, what?

Are you saying you shower and then don’t put anything on your armpits until the next day when you shower again? And would only use deodorant to cover the smell of sweat if you weren’t showering?

Been there, tried to do it but have been appalled & tried to help the person rather than disciplining them as they have had serious personal issues. The process says move to the next sanction irrespective of the circumstances but I like to be able to sleep at night.

Yes. I smell beautifully au naturel, unlike some of you gravy sweaters it would appear.
