Gruden rightfully raging in Denver, everything going against them. Broncors 10-3 at half time

Some scandalous officiating in that game. Ball crossing the goal line twice and both times given as coming up short. As well as the usual host of nonsense penalties.

At the end of the day it didn’t really matter, as even if the Raiders hadn’t been completely jobbed by the officials both yesterday and against Jacksonville, a 9-7 record still would have lost the H2H tiebreaker to Tennessee and missed the playoffs anyway. If anything, shite officiating has moved us up a few places in the draft.

Not great for your coupon, though. Zebra c***s.

New LA stadium will be packed with road team fans when the Chargers are playing. Especially when they’re playing the Raiders. The Rams will have a bigger home fan presence. The new Las Vegas stadium though..... what an away weekend trip that will be for road team fans - especially Denver and Kansas City. It will be a sea of orange, or red. Me & Mrs Poz are planning a trip to Vegas to see the Broncos. Imagine you are an American fan and the schedule has your team in Vegas. A mad weekend on the strip with a ballgame too? Where do I sign!?

I do think it'll be hard for them to create an intimidating atmosphere with so many fans supporting the away side every week.

There are enough Raiders fans all over the western states (and especially from LA) who will mean it’s never a “sea of” any opposition fans, imo. But there will definitely be some 50/50 splits (both teams you mentioned Poz, plus the teams with glory hunter fans like the Steelers, Pats, Pack) - and as suggested no real home advantage or atmosphere like there is in Oakland.

The Vegas locals really took to the Golden Knights in ice hockey and I think they’ll back the Raiders in general, but I get the feeling that for NFL games they might be priced out a bit more. LA Raiders fans will take some tickets, road fans will take some tickets, the casinos will have their share which they’ll give to tourists and day-trippers - aye, it’s not going to be a particularly great atmosphere.

Thought the refs were fine [emoji23]

The first one was in, he wasn’t touched until he was on the line. Not surprised they looked at it but I think they got it wrong.

Don’t think the RB going over the top was in. Close but I think he was just short.

I am not surprised at some of the mistakes the refs make. It’s a tough job but the video replays get so many wrong it’s scary

As you said, Renfrow was in, caught the ball, fell to the ground and was then touched with the ball a fair distance over the line.

Will have to disagree re: Ingold’s one. I almost get the reasoning behind it not being given - in that they basically couldn’t see where the ball was. And I get that if you can’t see the ball then you can’t give it. But at the same time, you could see where his arms were and they were clearly beyond the line imo - and his arms are holding the ball!

Loads of interference and holding calls both ways that you sometimes get and sometimes don’t; the standard maddening inconsistency. There were an unusually high number of roughing calls as well in what wasn’t a particularly violent game. Just poor all round.
