We had chances, mainly the first half, but defended the one thing we had to poorly with Cuddihy failing to clear and Lyle got his customary goal. Will be interesting to see the tackle on Goody by Brown that went unpunished, or he booked the wrong guy? The melee after the tackle that looked a red for being high could have resulted in more sending offs. Including Ray Grant taking what looked like a punch to the face. If it had finished 0-0 neither team would have had many complaints. When you say “ Lyle scored his customary goal”...... it was his first in 12 games I believe.....and did WE not want a point. We need to find a way to beat the lower half teams 2 wins out of 11 v lower half is very poor

David W
Rank game, rank refereeing. Didn't think Ferry's tackle was the worst in the game but the referee would have had a better angle. He didn't have control of the game at any point (from the point he let Brown away with a poor challenge on Goodwillie), but at least he knows that a free kick can indeed be awarded against a team in their own half. Clyde need to play better. Starting to get a bit tedious now. Injuries aren't really an excuse when regular starters like Cuddihy, Love and Lamont are so poor. And we didn't bother signing a left back. Wallace played well, fair play to him for stepping it up the last fortnight. Need to win next week or we are in serious trouble.
Karpaty Lviv
Worrying times. Our next two games are Stranraer at home (absolutely must win) and Dumbarton away (I seen they had two subs today?!) we really should be winning those. Then it’s a trip to a junior ground with grass, in the middle of January, in the Scottish Cup. Players need brought in pronto.

If we know the dirty game they play then we should've been prepared for that. Half of league 2 were hammer throwers last season and we dealt with that okay. It has been said over and over but injuries have crucified us this campaign. Thank f**k there is a sizeable gap between us and Stranraer, although if they beat us next week then it's looking bleaker.

lumos
Yes the officials were poor, 2 offsides ( love and goody ) were both on but both goals for Peterhead were not down to them getting a decision when they shouldn’t have. Leitch left alone at the back post for the first and we didn’t close down for the second. First half we overhit the ball with the wind behind us and too often in the second half we hit the ball up into the wind rather than keep it on the deck. The few times we did keep the ball down we created chances but not clear enough ones. Peterhead are experts at breaking up a game when they are in the lead, so much so that the stewards had to start going into the trees near the road to retrieve the 30 plus balls that were hit out of the ground [emoji3]. I think the ballboys had Velcro on their seats at the corner flags. You need to score goals to win games, we didn’t today . Yes we have a bad injury and illness list but the starting 11 was strong enough but not good enough today

strichener
Great result, good performance, bad losers as usual. Fair few Clyde fans embarrassing themselves today. Highlight being the woman in the second half racing down from the stand to bellow abuse at the officials after a Clyde player escaped a red card for a horrendous tackle in the Peterhead box. Never change Clyde. Even when the game doesn't entertain the support never fails to provide alternative entertainment.

Some just get annoyed by horrendous officiating. Never mind, tomorrow is where your interest really is , are you going to Ibrox?

As Jim mentioned Jason went in hard on Goodwillie for a yellow but the reaction of their players hounding the ref & pushing & shoving when not involved set things up for a good few similar set too,s, must say the boy Love is a complete tink that is never far away from trouble. Thought there may some mention of balls taking a bit of time to come back into play, the wind did not help today but no worse than at Broadwood when two stands are empty & it takes forever to get the ball back depending on the score. It was always going to be a battle today thankfully we beat the elements & Clyde.

Had to look up the fixtures to see what your Ibrox comment was about. Appears that even your old trope is shite given the game tomorrow is at Parkhead. 0/10 for effort, 0/10 for knowledge 10/10 for stupidity.
