Can anyone explain what that St Michael The Archangel banner was about in the Green Brigade section ?

It was a lot easier when Celltic was simply a football club of some renown in the east end of Glasgow.  Who knew they had become a socio-political  movement and quasi-religious order with a polemic viewpoint on everything ?

Saint Michael is the protector of the children of Israel.

Shock, horror.....

Outraged and furious celtic fans are in full faux offended mode.

Former Rangers star Fraser Aird caught making w***er gesture to Celtic fans

50 points at the half way mark having played 11 away.

Aberdeen, Motherwell, Hibs and Celtic away in the busy month of December and only drop two points.

Very happy with that. Now about being consistent with our performances. Only 5 out of 14 games before the split are away from home. All of those against sides in the bottom six.

It's certainly been a good month for you. You need to use the boost you got today and help press home your advantage. :)

Michael (Hebrew pronunciation: [mixaˈʔel]; Hebrew: מִיכָאֵל‎, romanizedMîkhā'ēl, lit. 'Who is like God?'; Greek: Μιχαήλ, romanizedMikhaḗl; Latin: Michahel; Coptic: ⲙⲓⲭⲁⲏⲗ; Arabic: ميخائيل ، مِيكَالَ ، ميكائيل‎, romanizedMīkā'īl, Mīkāl or Mīkhā'īl)[6] is an archangel in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. In Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox, Anglican, and Lutheran systems of faith, he is called "Saint Michael the Archangel" and "Saint Michael". In the Oriental Orthodox and Eastern Orthodox religions, he is called "Saint Michael the Taxiarch".[7][8] In other Protestant churches, he is simply called "Archangel Michael".

Michael is mentioned three times in the Book of Daniel. The idea that Michael was the advocate of the Jews became so prevalent that, in spite of the rabbinical prohibition against appealing to angels as intermediaries between God and his people, Michael came to occupy a certain place in the Jewish liturgy.

In the New Testament Michael leads God's armies against Satan's forces in the Book of Revelation, where during the war in heaven he defeats Satan. In the Epistle of Jude Michael is specifically referred to as "the archangel Michael". Catholic sanctuaries to Michael appeared in the 4th century, when he was first seen as a healing angel, and then over time as a protector and the leader of the army of God against the forces of evil.

Glad that clears that up.

Fixed it for you.

If 'WE' had won today and won against Rangers a fortnight ago then it certainly would have been a good/terrific month.

As it is we blew it big time today and that hurts alot. Still, I'll take a bit of consolation from the Old Firm result and the fallout on threads like this, the Clyde 1 phone in and the obvious pain of Chris Sutton, Ian Crocker and Andy Walker.

Well done to sevco today they just deserved that one, thought Aribo was MOTM IMO.
Again first 20 minutes was bad from a Celtic point of view plus Johnston and Forrest couldn't get into the game.
Thought the ref was card happy and stopped the game from letting it flow for both teams.
When we went 3 at the back it was a bit better but too late.
Not sure what the pen was for, sevco always looked like they had an extra player in the middle of the park Lennon needs to change his system.
