County vs Well boxing day

Suppose looking at the bench though, there’s not many other options. Probably the weakest it’s looked this season.

He said shortly before some boy comes off the bench to apparently ping an absolute screamer into the top bin on his debut from 25 yards.

Was MacIver highly thought of in Dingwall? Never actually seen him play myself but he’s popped up with a fair few goals for the reserves so far this season and Hartley was quite effusive in his praise for him during the week. With Cole away and Long presumably injured, he must be in with a shout of starting on Sunday.

Would have been happy with a point, absolutely delighted to get all 3 especially coming from behind and with the players we had missing. Fair play to all the ‘Well fans that travelled.

Also, what a signing Gallagher has been. Could probably hand him our POTY award right now.

Well done Ross MacIver. He was a cracking prospect for County’s u20s, scoring  goals from every position in a 4231, all types of goals as well. He was their captain latterly.

I don’t know why he wasn’t kept on but then trying understand County’s youth and transfer policy is not an easy thing to do. I bet Roy McG will be seething tonight though.

Do all your youth players not get released after the under 20s?

Tony Dingwall was kept on two years past his sell by date.

Tom Grivosti has been kept on and is a legit first team squad player, albeit a) he is arguably fourth choice centre back even if many think he is better than that,  b) he is currently injured and c) he is out of contract in the summer so will probably sign for someone else.

Despite the defeat we played well and we at least deserved a point, but down to 10 men meant the game swung in the favour of the visitors. Other than Rangers or Celtic there isnt really that much seperating the other teams in this league

That game brought down the curtain to another decade at home. Looking back over the past 10 years we have had plenty of highs to enjoy. A Scottish Cup final, a league cup final win, 2 promotions to the top flight and a top 6 finish, a 40 game unbeaten run, Challenge Cups-all in all plenty to be happy about.

Apart from the gap between 2nd (Sevco) and 3rd (Well) being the same as the gap between 4th (Sheep) and the rest.

The gap between us is almost the same amount of points you have all season.
