Nightmare
Looks like it’ll be Jack Del Rio as Rivera’s DC in, erm, DC. Had his flaws as a HC, but that seems like another very good hire.

Allen sacked, Rivera in as HC, Del Rio likely to come next and Chase Young in April... my god, looking forward to the new season already. What's gonna go wrong?
GNU_Linux
Regarding Patricia being kept on at the Lions it's the correct move imo. 3 years is the minimum a head coach of the Lions should get as the Lions are a team who aren't going to be sniffing around the playoffs every year so progress takes time with rebuild & consolidation seasons being par the course. I also want more time for Bevel to develop the offence as there's been encouraging signs thus far granted in difficult circumstances sans Stafford.
peasy23
Confusion reigns in Dallas as nobody has a clue what is happening with Garrett. His contract expires soon anyway but all the local reporters expected moves to be made before then.

Bully Wee Villa
It has massively increased the number of non-white people in coaching. The players are about 90% black and it was ludicrous that so few were trusted by (always white) owners when it came to the coaching side of things. It's true that there will be some instances of "box-ticking", of candidates turning up to interviews with no chance of success in order to help a team satisfy their commitment to the Rooney Rule. However, there are also bound to have been several occasions when a candidate who would not otherwise have been interviewed was able to wow owners and get a role. The Rooney Rule has been a great success, over all. Edited January 2, 2020 by Bully Wee Villa

Antiochas III
Garrett still not officially punted. Maybe Jerry will ask him to re-interview for his job. Along with McCarthy and Marvin Lewis.
